Chapter 22: One Job

Have you just get so tired of  drawing that you literally give up on a piece? Well that's exactly what happened..also..it makes me sick drawing them together 💀

Kade readjusted his backpack as he walked out of the massive building into the parking garage. He silently took his time hopping onto his bike, starting it up, and riding to his destination.

He was just going to a hotel to meet up. There he could shake his nerves off and try to be his normal self. It is gonna be a bit different today though.

Kade laid on his back on  the hotel bed deep In thought. He was so in thought he didn't hear anyone enter the room.

"Hey, blue~. Are you ready?"
Kade felt someone lay in the bed beside him. He opened his right eye to see the one and only.

"I didn't hear you come in Shade. Everything is going well I assume?" Kade asked.

"Everything is great-work is fine. We're partners now- it's official...So don't be so shy either." Shade laid on her stomach hovering over his face.

"I am not shy.." Kade glared at her with a blush. "You can just be overbearing."

"How was school? You planning to drop out yet?" Shade traces shapes on Kade's chest.

"I'm not dropping out. My Education is very important to me. My family will just have to wait for me to graduate if they want me full time.." Kade closes his eyes.

Shade froze raising a brow. "But it's more money isn't it? Pfft if I had the opportunity I'd say yes in a heartbeat."

"But it's not you is it? It's my choice." Kade mumbles. 

"Oh hush. Now what's the matter this time? You scared to get your hands dirty again? It's only blood." Shade kisses him quickly.

"It's that voice I'm my head..it's like another person is talking to me..trying to tell me what to do. " Kade sits up.

"Voice in your head? Honey, everyone has a Conscience." Shade rolls her eyes.

"This is different.." Kade gets out of the bed. He then looks down at his watch. "Let's get this over with."

"Awe. You make it seem like you don't wanna do this job."

"Because I don't. I don't feel comfortable about it." He rolls his eyes.

"You're good at what you do, and you have me. Everything will be fine." Shade got up from the bed and opened the door "Now let's go. I'll go over the plans on the way."

Kade nodded and followed her out the door.

"Now take this ear piece and don't break it!" Shade and Kade where on a rooftop within the city. Night has now fallen over the well known city. "Now that's the Building where he is located.."

"I need to work my way through the top to get to the target." Kade spoke aloud.

"Destroy anyone who gets in your way."  Shade handed Kade a pistol, and some ammo.

Kade looked at the pistol suspiciously.
"Do I have to? I could just knock them out or sneak to the top.."

"Take.the.damn.gun." Shade shoves it in his hand.
"Now go. I'll cover as usual" she then bends down opening her case she sat down.

Kade sighs and walks to the fire exit . "Fine." He sets the extra ammo on the ground . Psh As if he will need it.

"See ya there babe~" Shade calls her back turned to Kade.
