Amber herself felt as if she needed to stop by the
Library, so she left the dorm early to avoid the rush.

She looks up and down the isle to make sure she wasn't being watched. Seeing that it was all cleared she started going through books on mysteries and detective work. She hasn't told anyone, but she's very interested in this field of work. She smiles at the book in her hand and began to skim through it.

"Hey Amber."

"Gaggh! W-what?" She drops her book on the floor.

"Oh I got it.." Amber looks down to see Drew picking up the book for her.

"Drew you gotta stop popping up like that." She laughs lightly a hand over her chest.

"Eh I don't know- it's pretty funny. Oh! I didn't know you were into detective work. Why didn't you tell me?" Drew chuckles.

"Yeah, I didn't want to seem like I was trying to copy you or something." She looks away nervously.

"No harm done Amber. Do they got any good stuff in here? Books I mean." Drew skims through the book as well.

"I'm not sure. I actually just got here." She looks down at the floor.  "I just wanted to grab one before my class."

"Oh you're in a hurry then? Can I come with?" Drew asks with a shrug.

Amber pretended to think but nodded.
"I suppose so." She giggled.

I waited outside of Amber's  class impatiently. What time does this class end? 10:20?
I'm leaning on the wall across the hallway minding my own business. I see a couple of students glancing my way several times. I glare coldly at them in return.

You think they can recognize me?

I fold my arms and closed my eyes with a huge sigh.
"I'll never have a normal life."
I mean after everything that has happened I might as well use my name to start my own business right? That's all I can think of anyways.

"How long have you been waiting here??"

I snapped out of my daze to see Amber standing before me. A worried expression all over her face.

" A while" I sighed. "Are you free?"

"I'm free for the rest of today. Why?" She asked.
Perfect.

"Let's go outside. I heard the weather was nice today. You have a jacket right?" I asked as I showed her my own jacket.

"Yeah sure. Is something wrong?" Amber still looks so worried.

"Yeah I'm fine I just feel everyone's looking at me again." I started to walk down the hall. I don't really want to gain a whole lot of attention here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I took a deep sigh as I laid in the cool grass. I then turned to Amber.  "Thanks for coming with."
"Of course." She sat crossing her legs. There was a moment of silence until she broke it with her soft voice.  "Hey Drew. When did your anxiety started to get really bad? I'd hate to bring it up, but I'm worried."
Ugh of course she is worried. Amber is always worried. I'd hate for her to stress over me though.
"I....I don't want things from my past ruining my future ya know? It's super complicated." I sat up and stared at my knees.
"Well whenever you're ready to tell I'm hear you listen. Okay?" I hear Amber say confidently. I then felt her hand on mine as comfort. Ah this girl.
"Heh thanks amb-." I turned to my right to see her stunned. She looked frozen as her eyes glowed their regular aqua, but very brightly. What's up with her? I've never seen your eyes look like that.
"Uh.. Amber?" I removed my hand from hers and  fully turn to her now very concerned. Her
eyes stopped glowing but she still seemed frozen. I noticed a few tears going down her cheek.
"Why are you crying?"
Amber shakes her quickly and whipped her eyes. "I saw.."
She saw what? What is she seeing?
She looked to me worried still a couple of tears falling down her face.
"I saw it all.. you as a kid... and how you were part of..."
"What? You know? Y-you just saw all t-that?" I cut her off.  Amber nods. She then suddenly hugs me tightly. I hugged her back realizing that she never hugs me. This may be the only one I get.
"How can you handle something that's-."
"Hey..let's not talk about that right now...I'll explain another time. Kay?" I cut her off again.
As we pull out from our hug I gave her a smile.
"Ok.." she says uneasy.
What in the f*ck  just happened?
"That's never happened before.. I touched your hand and I just...saw." She breathes out.
"So..you have a new power." I raised a brow.
"I guess...past sightings?" She questioned herself.
So she can see people's past on a touch basis? Thats interesting.
"I don't want to get into that right now.. let's get into it later.." Amber shakes her head.  I mean if she says so. Fine let's change the subject. I lay back down and face the sky.
"On to another note. You want me to start giving you tips on detective stuff or like maybe you could get your schedule change?"
"Drew I don't know.. it just an interest." I heard Amber says nervously.
"Well as you know I'd like to be a detective and start my own business. Have you decided what you would like to do?" I asks with my eyes closed.
"Not yet..."
"Haha you could work for me." I snickered then corrected myself. "With me.."
We could work together in Capital Emerald. Stopping bad guys and cool stuff.
"I don't know let me think about that." She stated.
I open my eyes and watched Amber lay beside me.
