All I know is what people told me. She died giving birth to me and last night marked the 16th year. Dad told me the whole outbreak with the walkers and disease ended when I was about 5. He doesn't know exactly what happened but they're gone. It's been years without walkers so chances are they're all gone. Even if they aren't our town is really secure.

Tradition in this big family is that you eat dinner together, so might as well eat breakfast. It's 8 am yet the sky is grey and foggy.

we're all around the dinner table while Maggie and Carol cook breakfast. Daryl talks about the 'old days' (and we all know he means when the world ended). Everyone tells me stories all the time about how survival was hard, and keeping me alive was the hardest.
We talk about Lori. My mom who I never met. I wonder how she was. I wonder where she is now.

They talk about people who died during the apocalypse, names that I've never heard like Hershel, Beth, Andrea and some Governor. As we eat I think about how if I was older during those times, what would I have done?

After breakfast, it starts to rain. Dad says there used to be sinks and drains where water comes out itself, but after the End they didn't work anymore, and there wasn't enough people to fix them. But now we have about 90 people in our town, which is the most people ever. Everyone grabs a bucket and goes outside in the dull, foggy and cold weather, and starts collecting rain water.

Obviously as the trouble maker I am, I ditch everyone and go to the end of the neighborhood to the fence. The fence that is "walker-proof", even though they don't exist anymore.Lightning strikes through the fog and Carl screams my name, "JUDITH!"

"BY THE FENCE!" I scream loud so he can here me through the small storm. He comes running but then stops and shouts "JUDITH! LETS GO!" What's the big deal? I always go to the fence when it rains. I love seeing the grass get wet and grow longer the next few days. But then I see why he wants me back.

Behind the fence are about a million or more of those 'walkers' that were supposed to be gone.
