We run to the group. "DAD! WALKERS! MILLIONS! THEY'RE ALL HERE!"
I'm running and running and I'm tired. Never have I ran so far. But I need to get used to it considering almost all of America is back from the dead.
"EVERYBODY RUN!" My dad yells. What now? Where do we go? Where do we run? We run away.
We're 16 people. Running.
What about the town? What about the other 90 people? Running.
We have to get through the fence. They key is always with my Dad. He opens it and we run. On the other side, I see the walkers knocked down the fence. I look ahead and there's a walker right in front me.
"HELP!!" I scream. Carl throws me a hammer and tells me to aim for the brain. I do it.
I do it.
I killed him.
I killed a person.
No, I killed a walker
I run to catch up. But suddenly we all stop and stare. Jogging, I come up to Carl and ask "What's going on?"
"We're trapped."
At least a million walkers in front and behind us are heading our direction.
"WHAT NOW?" I yell through the loud and roaring thunder.
"THERE'S A SEWER!" Carol yells and points. We all run as she opens the the cement opening. First, I climb down the ladder, then Mark, then Carl, then everyone else. Dad is last and he closes the opening.
It's pitch black and only one flashlight. Leading us is my dad, and from behind protecting us is Michonne.
Luckily she brought matches. Me and Mark found sticks and put them on the dark and wet ground to start a fire.
It smells awful and the ground is wet and muddy. I mean, it's not mud but...
I hear millions of footsteps above my head.
"The walkers! They'll come!" I cried.
"No, we're safe." Carl answers me.
My dad gets everyone's attention.
"We thought we were safe. I though we were safe. But we're not.
They weren't gone. It's not over."
He opens a bag of weapons. Guns, knives, bombs, everything.
"Where were you keeping all this stuff?" I ask.
"My closet. just incase." He answers.
I grab a knife and a small gun that Carl gave me.
In the darkness of the sewer I hear moans.
"Shit." Mark says.
Daryl and Glenn take the flashlight and go to check it out. They disappear into the darkness.
After 15 minutes they come back.
"It's clear," Glenn says, "about 10 walkers."
"They were here the whole time. I guess we're never safe." Daryl says. He adds on, "Alright, lets spend the night here. At dawn we start moving."
