Everyone goes silent except for his parents. I walk up to his body. "I'm sorry," I whisper,
"I'm sorry."
I start to tear up and I can't hear anything. Maggie's screams are muffled out. I breathe in and out slowly.
This is just the beginning.
Maggie's screams fill in the air. My father gives me the we need to talk right now look. I step outisde. "Judith, are you aware of what just happened? Do you think if you apologize to Glenn and Maggie everything will be fine again? Because of your stupid decisions, Mark just DIED. You killed him Judith. You killed him."
"Dad," I'm in tears.
"No."
I walk back inside the barn.
~~chapter break~~
It's dark out now and Maggie hasn't moved away from Mark. His body is cold and pale and he will turn soon. But she puts a knife through his skull before. Maggie finally gets up. She goes to Glenn and he brings her into his embrace. She goes to Carol and she gives her a can of beans.
"Maggie?" I call her name. She turns around.
"Yes Judith."
"I want you to know that he was my best friend, and I would never want to put him in danger."
"Thank you."
I check my watch, 10pm. Normally in Alexandria I would be sleeping in my bed, but now the dead is alive and sleeping are awake. I go to the wall where my dad and Carl is, and sleep a painful slumber.
Carl wakes me up, "We gotta go. Hit the road. Walkers are all over the woods." We pack up, get trhough the woods and onto the main road. We walked for a long time in silence.
Daryl points to the distance "Hey." Ahead on the side of the road is an RV. Glenn and Abraham go inside and clear it out, then we pile in.
"There's enough gas to make it," Carol points to the gas metre. "About an hour left. It'll take at least half."
"There's food in the shelves," Glenn takes out cans of corn and jars of pickles. He finds a screwdriver from a drawer and starts the vehicle. "We won't all fit, but we need to. Squeeze at need."
I take the couch and beside me sits Carl and Michonne. With that, we hit the road to this 'Terminus' place.
