"He's in here." Ukai motioned to the curtain closed around the bed Hinata was resting in, but it was pulled back before Yamara could open it. "I said I'm fine! Please, leave me alone! I have to get to class or my grades are going to drop!"

Hinata shouted, despite holding onto the curtain for dear life. His breathing was completely uneven and his face was flushed. "Hinata, please rest!" Daichi shouted, trying to get the ginger back into the bed.

"When'd he wake up!?" Ukai quickly slipped in front of Hinata, wrapping his arms around him and lifting him off the ground with ease. "Let me go! I have to get to- Aunt Yamara?!" Spotting the upset older woman behind Ukai, Hinata gulped.

He was placed back onto the bed and stared at her with wide eyes. "When- How did- Why are you here?" Sighing, Yamara politely asked the 3 men to step outside the room so Hinata and her could talk in private.

"Listen, Hinata. I know you're trying your best under the circumstances your mother left you under, but this is just too much. You look like you just came out of hell."

He knew where she was getting with this. She and his mother had talked about it before and he had accidentally eavesdropped on their conversation. "No," he growled, now glaring at her, as he had no outlet for his building fury.

Yamara looked at him in pity. "She'd have a nice home, you know. I'll take great care of her, and she'll be closer to the daycare."

"No..." his voice cracked as tears threatened to our from his eyes. He couldn't believe this was happening. It felt like a nightmare. "Please, I'll quit volleyball! I'll drop out of school! Whatever it takes! Just... please don't..."

Yamara dug through her purse, tears in her eyes. She pulled out a signed paper. A paper saying Natsu was going to live with her from here on until she's an adult. A paper that ruined Hinata's life. His heart broke.

"NO!" He desperately cried. The one's outside the nurse's office heard the heartwrenching cries and ran in, seeing Hinata crying his eyes out. "YOU CAN'T TAKE HER AWAY! PLEASE!" His cries were those of absolute pain. The true sound of a breaking heart.

"I'll do anything! I'll drop everything and only focus on her! I'll make sure she always has everything she needs! Please! Please! God, please don't take her from me!" Burying his face in his hands, he continued to pray that this was only a dream.

"Hinata, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You need to learn to be more selfish. Your whole life can't revolve around-"

Yamara was cut off by Hinata growling. "I'll kill myself if you take her! How's that for self-" Eyes wide and full of tears, the ginger slowly turned his head back to the front staring at Yamara like she just grew two heads. Her hand was raised.

"Don't say shit like that, Shouyou! She's not going to be gone forever! You're only a kid! You can't take care of both yourself and her! I'll come by your house later today to pick up her and her things! In the meantime, calm yourself!"

Sniffling, Yamara began walking to the door. "I'll wait for you outside the school gate." With that, she closed the door, leaving three shellshocked men and a weeping ginger. "No..." he finally said. Daichi and Nishinoya jumped, not exactly sure what to do.

The coach just stared sympathetically. He knew something was going on in the Hinata household, but something this major was something he didn't expect. "Please don't take her away... Please..." Hinata cried into his school uniform pants.

After a good ten minutes of awkward silence, Hinata slipped off the bed and grabbed his bag, his skates clicking together. When he passed by his coach and teammates, they gasped, their hearts wrenching painfully.
