"Tonight. Night of the comet" Bonnie said giving a person a flyer as they passed by. "Would you like a program ?" Lily smiled at a woman passing by, handing her a flyer
"He didn't call, huh? " Bonnie said looking over at Elena.
"Or text," Elena said. "But then I realized that we never even exchanged that stuff, we've never gotten to the texting part" she continued handing out a flyer.
"That's an important milestone in any relationship," Bonnie said sarcastically smiling over at the Gilbert sisters
"Isn't it ? .. the timing is wrong anyway," Elena said smiling at Bonnie's comment.
"When is it ever right? " Bonnie explained looking over at her " I'm not ready, Bonnie" Elena complained
"Who is?" Bonnie argued back. The girls stopped and faced each other. "At least I put myself out there," Elena said shrugging her shoulders
"Is that what you're calling it ?" Lily teased smiling over at her sister
"What do you mean?" Elena said looking down at the flyers
"All we're hearing is reasons why you can't" Bonnie explained looping her arm over Lilith's shoulder.

Lily and Caroline looked around at the smiling people.
"We did good," Caroline said handing her a candle.
"Yeah, we did," She said, taking the candle from Caroline and heading over to Bonnie seeing Elena walk away from them as she went to light another candle.
"Thank you" Elena heard as she quickly came to realize that she lit Stefan's candle.
"Hi," He said smiling at her.
"Hi," she repeated as she turned away from him, looking over her shoulder and saw Matt and her sister & friends looking at her.
Elena looked back and walked away from Stefan. He followed her, staying close as he saw her looking up at the comet.
"You know, that comet.." Stefan whispered leaning close to her ear, catching her attention.
"It's been traveling across space for thousands of years....all alone." He continued as he looked up at the comet.
"Yeah, Bonnie says it's a harbinger of evil" Elena smiled remembering Bonnie's words at the grill.
"I think it's just a ball of.. snow and ice, trapped on a path that it can't escape. ... and once every 145 years, it gets to come home." He said
"I'm sorry about yesterday. I wasn't myself." Stefan said wanting her to look at him, but she kept on looking at the comet.
"You seem to spend a lot of time apologizing." She teased.
