"Marlene" Alex said as she emerged on to the astronomy tower, after following Marlene there.
"please, just leave" Marlene muttered not looking at the other girl
"Marlene, please" Alex pleaded walking over to the girl
"no, just go" Marlene replied turning her back to Alex
"no" Alex began "I'm not leaving you"
"why?" Marlene asked, her voice breaking
"because you shouldn't be alone, not like this" the slytherin girl answered
"but, I'm disgusting" Marlene sobbed
"no" Alex said, more to herself than the other girl "your not" she said a little louder this time, then putting her hand under the other girls chin and turning Marlene's face so it faced her own "Marls, your many things, but your not disgusting,"
"You wouldn't be saying that, not if you knew" Marlene replied through tears
"Marls, I- I think I already know" Alex replied squeezing the girls hand
"oh" Marlene said frowning as fear and confusion washed over her face "how?"
"Just, I mean I just kinda assumed" Alex replied
"and you don't hate me?" the gryffindor asked
"no, of course not" Alex replied
"but its, wrong, its just wrong" Marlene muttered
"no, its not, loads of people are queer" Alex replied
"no there's not, I don't know anyone else who's- who's queer" she replied whispering the last word as if it where a swear.
"yes you do" the brunette replied
Marlene shook her head "I don't"
"you do" Alex replied smiling a little "I am"
"you are?" Marlene asked frowning
"yeh" Alex replied
"oh" the blonde girl frowned "I didn't know that, sorry for.. well this I guess, I just, I dont know, it feels easy to.. to talk to you I guess" she added
It was odd, or so Alexandra thought anyway, seeing someone letting their guard down and opening up to her, someone trusting her fully.
"hey, you dont need to be sorry" the slytherin anwsered "come on" she added taking the other girls hand and leading her to the door
"where are we going?" Marlene asked, confusion clear on her face.
"to have some fun" Alexandra replied grinning
"whats that supposed to mean?" Marlene asked laughing
"oh just come on" Alex said pulling the blonde through the door.
The two girls ended up in the marauders dorm, "how are we supposed to prank them?" Marlene asked as they looke around the room
"umm, we could make it rain inside?" Alexandra suggested looking through the records by one of the beds.
"no, it needs to be more exciting" Marlene replied "why dont we paint the walls pink with a charm"
"it wouldnt be annoying though," Alexandra replied "we could put die in their shampoo?"
"or" Marlen began getting excited "we could charm all their stuff to the roof!"
"Merlin yes, we could use a version of the levicorpus jinx to do it!" Alexandra exclaimed
