I opened the spare bedroom door as Ember, Rouge and Omega looked at me. They heard my scream and were concerned but I just walked past them and straight to the bathroom.

"The hell? Is he...ok in the head?" Rouge asked out of concern.

"I think so yeah. He did mention that the staff in the orphanage were not the nicest people." The female dragon replied back.

I washed my face with cold water as I breathed heavily looking at myself in the mirror. I could tell there was a shake in my breathing. I never felt this nervous after the mean nasty people used to hurt me. Why was I having that nightmare? Why...did I feel...so real?

The Next Morning

Rouge woke up bright and early exhausted out of her poor mind. She wore a tank top with baggy pyjama bottoms walking straight to the kitchen were the coffee was. To her surprise there was a hot cup ready for her. She saw him. Daven, doing the dishes whilst standing on a stack of books cause of his height.

"Morning Miss Rouge."
"Uhh...morning?" She was surprised seeing the kid up and early. It was 6 in the morning.

Daven's POV:

"Why you up early?" She asked curiously
"Why you up early?" I answered back
She didn't have an answer for that exactly other than "Touche..." she was impressed. I could hear it in her voice.

"Oh also Miss Rouge." I jumped off the stack of books and walked past her heading to the spare room and came out with her outfit which made her wide eyed but she noticed something different about it. It was finished. The exact way she planned to make it. It was a cool looking outfit. (Sonic Heros Outfit)

"Woah!...b-but how did you finish it?!" She was desperate begging for knowledge but also shocked on how a kid like me was able to accomplish this.

"I just followed the instructions you made. No big deal it was actually a piece of cake." I gave my signature wide grin innocent smile showing my sparkling white teeth as I winked.

She smiled back at me for the first time ever since she met me last night.

The edgy hedgehog grumbled as the annoying alarm clock was going. He grinded his teeth together in anger before throwing it at the wall.
"SHUT UP!" before it all smashed to pieces all on the floor. He sighed in relief and layed back down but he couldn't sleep now.

"...damn it..." he sighed and got up stretching and cracking his back before leaving the room. Now in the hallway he could hear something in the living room area...laughter.

"Oh no..." he muttered as he nervously walked to the living room expecting to see the annoying Amy Rose but instead, it wasn't Amy laughing. It was Rouge. Why was she laughing? Because she was chatting with Daven whilst she was painting his toes and he was combing her hair to make it look nice and stylish.

"Pinks your favourite colour? You've got good taste kid." She smiled

"Aww thanks Miss Rouge. Your furr is so soft it's easy to style and comb."

"Please sweety...just call me Rouge." She looked up at me and smiled so I smiled back.

"W-what is going on here?" Shadow finally sputtered out in the most confused tone ever.

"Oh hey Shads! Me and Daven are having a self care morning. This kid can really style me up. Imagine what he could do to you or Ember."

"Nope! Fucking off now!"

I yelled "Language!" Then chuckled as did Rouge.

Lunchtime

I made myself some sandwiches unaware of the amazement stares I was getting from Shadow and Ember whilst Rouge just smiled at me. To go with my lunch I grabbed one of Rouge's cans of Diet Coke which she gave me permission to take.

"Ok...this kid can do the dishes, wash and hang the laundry, vacuum the place and then make meals?" Shadow looked Rouge not believing it.

"Yeah...he told me alot about his childhood at the orphanage. He's a good kid...can we keep him?!" Rouge eyes widened as she thought of the idea and grabbed Shadow's arm tight "Can we keep him?! Please!"

"No. He's going back to the orphanage we are not having children in Team Dark."

Ember scoffed and then chuckled saying "you teach a 6 year old bunny how to shoot a gun. So shut your mouth."

They just watched me walk away with my lunch.

Later again

Tear fell down our cheek as we watched My Girl. I could hear Rouge quietly whimpering wiping her eyes. Then I saw Ember and Shadow sitting together both arms crossed with emotionless faces staring at the TV.

"T-t-this is so beautiful!" Rouge cried as she wiped her eyes and then Omega walks in with a box of chocolates
"I have located Ember's secret stash of chocolate's for your appetite."
"Thanks Omega!" Rouge smiled as she took them ignoring the hateful stare from Ember.

Time: 21:49

I got comfortable in bed again and sighed happily closing my eyes thinking of the most fun day I've had today. I'm close now with Rouge and Omega. Shadow and Ember are quite...emo-ish. But I've had a brilliant day and I hope to have more soon.

Somewhere else in a hidden base

It was a massacre. Guards dead everywhere. An alarm ringing continuously. All but one was alive.

He ran down the hallway looking all bloody. He had a huge cut on his forehead, there was blood all over his lab coat and he was breathing heavily fast. He was running from something. Something pure evil.

He locked himself in his office but it was pointless. Whoever was kicking his door threw a smoke grenade and the outline of his body could be seen.

"Don't bother getting up. It's just an old friend coming to say hello." A gentle soft voice was heard within the smoke before he revealed himself to the doctor. A purple hedgehog with a twisted grin. Wearing a bike leather jacket and a scar on his face across his eye.

The doctor was scared for his life so he tried to make a break but for but felt the hedgehog's strong grip literally throw him across the room into a chair and corned him as the hedgehog gripped his shoulders tight.

"Hello...father!" The hedgehog said in his charming sinister voice before bursting into a maniacal laughter as all the doctor saw before everything went black was the hedgehog's maniacal grin as he laughed his evil chuckle.
