Chapter 7: The Meeting

In central square near the docks at the warehouses currently in a meeting full of different kinds of animals who were major crime lords

Anger was rising well the same could be said about the frequent questions being asked. At this mysteriously arranged meeting was a tall skinny brown dog with a white suit, a big dark purple hippo with a black suit and red tie wearing glasses, a few G.U.N members who were mostly cats, hawks and hedgehogs.

"If you didn't set up the meeting then who's party is this?!" One of the hawks angrily asked clearly irritated

"I thought it was you coming to us to actually work together in order to help take down Shadow The Hedgehog. He killed some more of our guys 3 days ago." The white suited dog replied

"Some?! He killed 6 of my people! 6!...some of my best people." The hippo mournfully replied.

The leader of the G.U.N clearly was irritated enough as he stood up. He was an dark green Echidna with shorter hair than Knuckles but a scar across his mouth with a small goatee beard.

"Ah to hell with this. I'm going! If you ever even think of wasting my time ag-"

"Sit down commander!...it's my meeting." A gentle yet strict voice spoke up above them on the balcony as people immediately panicked thinking it was Shadow.

"It's him!/ Shadow!/ We didn't do nothing!"

Surprisingly a Jackal wearing some mask covering the nasty scar on his face and to hide his other coloured eye came to view...with an Assault Rifle.

"Well we all know that's a lie."

They freaked out. Immediately pulling out guns but the Jackal was prepared. He shot fires at them but he missed intentionally. Warning shots.

"I said sit down!"

"You wanna die?! There's easier ways to kill yourself!"

"Yeah like yelling at the guy with the AK-47. Listen to me you drug peddling hitmen scumbags. I will be running the operation from now on. You all are the most dangerous and powerful people in this stinky city. I'm offering you fucker's a deal. You go about your business as usual but kick up 25% for me. In return you will have total protection from both Team Dark and Eggman. But you stay away from kids in school yards. No dealing to children! Got it?! If you do...you're dead."

"Ok crazy man this is all very generous. But why the hell should we listen to you?" The Commander was indeed curious. Who the hell did this Jackal think he was to come in with guns drawn and tell him what to do?! What's this though?

The Jackal threw a bag towards them. Whatever it was in there was heavy. With caution they unzipped it and the photos immediately caught their attention. Pictures of a Pink Hedgehog  at the yard of an orphanage, sleeping and one with him hanging out with a female bat.

"Wait...what is this? Who is this?"

"Your greatest experiment yet. He went missing 6 year's ago stolen by 2 of your worker's. Seems like your little science experiment has gotten comfortable with Team Dark. If he remembers the truth of what he is...god knows what will happen not just to him...but to all of us. Think carefully on how you want to claim your weapon commander." He vanished into the darkness.

An hour later

The Jackal knelt down at a pod as the holographic video of a hooded person was in front of him. Whoever this mysterious figure is had a familiar tone in his voice. Speaking slowly creating tension within the silence air.

"Yes?"

"My master, the plan is in motion."

"Is that so? And...the child?"

"He's here. In the city. Seems to have gotten close to Team Dark my lord."

"Hmmm...and the other one?"

"He's done his job. No survivors."

"Excellent. Soon the child will come to us for answers. And we shall give them to him."

"My lord if you don't mind me asking, what about Team Dark?"

"Once we have the child. They'll come for him. You are so close to setting me free Infinite. Once the child uses his powers too much the world will be destroyed. Now Infinite...you and I will be working much more closely from now on." The mysterious figure showed his smile before the holographic image disintegrated.

All the Jackal could do what grin psychoticly.

"See you very soon Daven The Hedgehog."
