I felt the cold breeze through my quills. I stood on top of the tallest building seeing the busy yet beautiful city. The dark power of mine calmed down some time ago...but I was all alone again.

I later found myself after using my dark power to land safely to the ground in the City Centre. It was like New York's Time Square. Beautiful and bright.

It was nice but...I was alone again. One of the few fears I had...being alone. Other than Snakes and Sharks being Alone was the top one.

After some looking around I found myself walking towards an alley way and I actually found a thrown away big empty box in the trash. Big enough for me to sleep in. I slammed it on the ground and crawled inside curling up in a ball and closing my eyes.

I'm not sure how much time passed as I slept in my home but I do remember it was still dark out when I opened my eyes after hearing something.

Footsteps, very light footsteps.

"I know you are here Daven. Come out. I assure you I'm not here to hurt you...only to give a message."

The voice unrecognizable. It sounded like a gentleman then I saw the shoes.

"If you really think I'm gonna try to attack you after knowing what you are capable off then you are dead wrong."

He made a good point. So I crawled out and looked up to see him. A Jackal. He had his hand out offering me a hand up so I took it.

"Who are you?"

"A messenger but...you may call me Infinite. I bring a message. Dark days are coming Daven, you will have to make the hardest choice in your entire life when the time comes. You want answer to the truth about yourself? Then in time you will meet your past. What happened at that G.U.N base will make sense soon to you. You are apart of all of this."

"...how am I apart of this?"

"You'll see."

That line terrified me. So much it made me wake up from the nightmare. Was it a nightmare? It felt so real. But I know the face of a little bunny with an orange dress that was seeing if I was ok was real.

"Are you okay mister?" She had a sweet voice. So innocent sounding. Full of kindness and hope.

I was scared because it was another person I wasn't sure I could trust. So nervously I hugged my legs tighter hiding my face. I didn't hear anything else but eventually I heard her footsteps run away.

Silence

And then I heard the running footsteps again but...I heard two pairs.

"He's in there Miss Rose!"

"I'll talk to him Cream." I heard someone else looking in the box. It was a girl pink hedgehog with a pretty red dress.

"Hey there. I'm Amy Rose. What's your name?" She had a sweet tone in her voice that sounded comforting. Like a mother.

"...D-Daven..."

"Hey Daven. How old are you?"

"7"

"Oh wow...why you out here all alone?"

"I've got nowhere to go...no friends or family."

"Would you like to come with me and Cream? We can get you a nice bath and some delicious food." She smiled offering her hand out to me.

It took me a little while before I reluctantly took it following her.

Whilst walking with her holding my hand I felt the Rabbit who introduced herself as Cream held my other hand to make me feel comfortable.

It was calm. Everything was peaceful but something wasn't right. Then...something was in the back of my mind. It was like a sixth sense. Something bad was gonna happen...someone was gonna get hu-

"AMY LOOK OUT!" Just on time. I was able to push her out the way as someone tried to hit her with red electricity. A Jackal. Not the same one I saw...a different one. He wore sunglasses with a big long black overcoat.

"Who the hell are you?!" I yelled with rage in my voice. I felt the shake and the unsteady tone in my voice but I also felt the rage taking over once again.

"Hmm...not bad...still I've been paid for a reason. To test your power." The Jackal calmly responded taking off his jacket and running up to me with two red swords striking at me. Not a good idea.

I was able to trip him up and stomping hard on his chest I heard a rib crack but it didn't stop him. He jumped up from the ground lunging towards me but he didn't get close...because he stopped him. The Edgelord.

"...Shadow..."

"Seem's like I'm not the only one after Daven! I'm taking him in!"

"Over my dead body! Hedgehog!"

I watched as they fought each other but the Jackal was overpowering him. I saw from each punch blood started to come out his mouth and nose. I had a choice. Help...or walk away.

"ENOUGH!!!" A burst of powerful dark power left my body knocking the Jackal back off Shadow as all the lights turned off in the city street. I did that.

Amy gently placed her hand on my shoulder and told me to just leave with her. I agreed I really wanted to get away from everything. But what happened next...I consider Shadow's fault.

"Wait! You're coming with me!" I felt him aggressively yank my arm but in self defence my power took over and simply pushed him which sent him flying across the street and into a window of a cafe. Glass pierced through his arm as he groaned in pain.

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I screamed as once again the darkness took over me. I saw in the corner of my eye that the Jackal was watching me with a proud smile. Then...

"Daven! Please stop!" It was Ember. Here she was, begging, afraid and concerned. I looked at her then I saw myself on a big screen monitor. Someone was filming me live for the news. I saw the title: "Monstrous Hedgehog terrorizing city".

I'm not a monster...I'm not...

As I fell on my knees the sound of guns loading and I saw multiple G.U.N soldiers surround me. I didn't care anymore. I stood up and approached one of them raising my arms. I really am alone in this world...

Ember watched as they put handcuffs on me before putting me in the back of a G.U.N van then driving off out of eyesight.

"Daven..."
