Narrator's POV:

A truck drives along a long, straight road in the middle of the tundra.

Ruby: Not that I'm bored, but why can't we just use an airship to take these supplies to Amity?

Ruby, (Y/N) and Penny are sitting in the front seat, while an AK-200 drives. Ruby stares ahead sleepily.

Penny: The components for Amity Tower's construction are far too heavy. All that weight would require precious Dust we should be saving for the launch itself. And the Grimm that will come after.

Ruby begins to come closer to nodding off to sleep.

Ruby: It just makes for long... very long... supply runs.

(Y/N): Are you tired Rubes?

Ruby: What...no(yawn)totally not.

(Y/N):(poker face) Really?

Penny: At least the tundra is scenic.

Penny smiles and looks out the window. In the distance, a pair of penguins watch the truck, squawking.

Ruby: (unimpressed) Totally.

(Y/N):(grabs Penny's shoulders as she looks out the window) Penguins they look so cute! Don't you think penny?

Penny: Affirmative!

Ruby begins falling asleep, soon leaning over to (Y/N)'s shoulder.

Penny: Ruby! (Y/N)!

Ruby is startled awake.

(Y/N):(sweat drops) Penny I'm right next to you don't need to yell...

Penny: My apologies, I just wanted to say how excited I am to be working with you guys in a professional capacity. As friends!

Penny grins excitedly.

(Y/N):(chuckles) I'm glad I can spend time with you too Penny.

Ruby: (laughs) Me too, Penny.

Penny: Relationships are so interesting and varied!

Ruby: Speaking of friends... Have you been able to make any new ones? Since, you know...?

(Y/N) gets a chill down her spine as she remembers the event very vividly.

(Y/N): I think I need therapy...

She then remembers Yang losing her arm and the thing with the Apathy.

(Y/N): I think all of us need therapy.

Penny: Now that I'm the official protector of Mantle, I don't really have a team anymore. General Ironwood says I don't have time for friends.

(Y/N): Okey now I think Ironwood is an ass-

Ruby:(covers (Y/N)'s mouth) Oh, uh, how do you feel about that?

Penny: I feel like I wish I could do both the things I need to do and the things I want to do. Is that normal?

Ruby: That's about as normal as it gets, Penny.

(Y/N): You know you should tell Ironwood how you feel about this I mean you may be metal but you still have a soul and you can feel emotions if anyone looks like a emotionless robot that's Winter I mean have you seen how she bottles up her emotions that's unhealthy.

Penny: I don't-

Qrow speaks up from the back of the truck.

Qrow: Everything going alright up there?
