Yang's decision was made!

(Y/N)'s POV:

Tai takes a swing at me with his left hand, but I easily blocks it with my arm wrist, pushing his hand away from me. I uses the momentum to turn and come back at him with a roundhouse kick. Tai bends backward to dodge it.

(Y/N): What the heck was that!?

We stop and look at each other for a while. I then turn to Yang to see her as shock as I am.

Yang: What was that? That totally is not your fighting style at all.

(Y/N): I don't know but it felt so natural....

(Y/S): Seems like you finally learn how to use your semblance in another way.

(Y/N): What semblance? I was not using my semblance!?

(Y/S): You used it without even noticing. Is what I said about having more power but not knowing how to use it. You can copy other people fighting style and by doing so predict there next moment (shout out to @Zungruth for the idea). Remember what you told Blake when we went on our first mission.

Flashback

(Y/N): Your semblance is what it is because that's what you need Blake. I'm not saying to run away I'm saying to look at it differently.

Flashback end

(Y/N): How did you-?

(Y/S): We are the same person, we have the same memories...

(Y/N): Oh!

Before I can ask any further I feel a strong punch in my face that make me fall to the ground.

Yang: Dad! What the hell!

Tai: What she needs to be alerte! I don't want my future daughter in law to die without putting up a fight!

Yang:(blushes) DAD!

Yang: (Y/N) are you okey-?

(Y/N):(get back up) Yeah I'm fine don't worry about me!

(Y/N):(get in to fighting stand) Okey no more playing games let's do this!

Tai: I like your determination! Okey show me what you got!

Tai makes the first move with a left hook, followed immediately by a right cross and a kick. I block and dodge it , I continuing to avoid being hit even when Tai flips in the air. We stand back a little from each other.

(Y/S): okey, now focus on Tai's next move.

I do as she says and I see Tai's shadow do a roundhouse kick and then it disappears.

(Y/S): Do you see what I mean when I said predictions your opponents next move.

I nod and concentrate in the fight once more.

Tai stands alone and moves forward, doing a roundhouse kick. I grab his foot with my hand and kick his other foot making him fall.

(Y/S): Your getting the hang of it.

I smile.

(Y/N): Your a good trainer Tai.(lends him a hand)

Tai: Thank (Y/N)! (Grabs my hand and get off the floor)

Tai: Okey now let's go eat dinner!

Me and Tai start walking to the house, Yang catch up to us and smirks at me.

(Y/N): What?

Yang: Well you look really hot fighting Yang likes~

I playfully punch her in the shoulder and she just chuckles.

Tai: Come on lovebirds dinner is not going to be made by itself!

Time skip

No one's POV:

Yang spray paints her robotic arm and half of Ember Celica bright yellow. She goes into a tool shed and takes the tarp that had been covering her motorcycle, Bumblebee, off. (Y/N) appears behind her smiling and ready to go.

Tai: I don't remember saying that you guys were ready.

He is leaning against the frame of the open shed door, arms crossed.

(Y/N):(turns around) Holy s- (nervous) Oh! Hi Tai...

Yang: (without turning around) Oh yeah? You're gonna try and stop us?

Tai: (chuckling) No. I think I'm still too sore after our last fight. I just wanted a better goodbye than a letter. And, I also have a question for you.

Yang turns around.

Tai: Where are you going?

Yang: What do you mean?

Tai: (moving into the shed) Well, despite asking him numerous times not to, I know that Qrow told you where your mother's been at these days. I know how much you wanna see her. I've stopped you in the past, but I won't anymore. And we both read the note. We know your sister's headed to Mistral. So, where are you going?

Yang looks down at the tarp as Tai makes his point. She remains gazing down for another couple of beats before looking up at her father. Her eyes narrow in determination, her decision made and (Y/N) smirks knowing what the decision is.
