Third Person POV

( It was snowing. The nightsky was filled with stars. The river was dark and still. The lights from the buildings on the other side were shining through onto the water. The bridge was just a few steps away from the trio.

The three were quiet. Hank and Nicole were seated on the bench supporter, drinking alcohol with a bottle in their hand. Connor stood beside the bench, staring at the river. Snow was covering them, but neither one cared )

Hank: Nice view, huh?

( Hank started, making Connor look at him, his eyes still at the buildings and river )

Hank: Used to come here alot... before...

( He trailed off and took a sip of his drink. Connor stared back at the river and thought before he spoke )

Connor: Before what?

Hank: Huh?

( Hank turned his head slightly, indicating that he didn't hear Connor properly. Connor narrowed his eyes a bit and explained his question )

Connor: You said you used to come her alot before...

( He looked at the Lieutenant and asked )

Connor: Before what?

Hank: Before...

( Hank started as he stared at his feet on the bench. He shook his head and took another sip from the bottle )

Hank: Before nothing.

( He dismissed the questioned and stared back at the river. Connor stared at his partner. He folded his arms, like he was feeling cold, and turn to his right to face the Lieutenant, his shoulders and hair covered with snow )

Connor: Can I ask you a personal question, Lieutenant?

Hank: Is it just you or do all androids ask so many personal questions?

( Hank looked back at the android and joked. Connor didn't find any humor in it as he spoke with his eyes narrowed and his head tilted slightly, his LED going amber )

Connor: Why are you so determined to kill yourself?

( Hank turned his head away and looked at the ground. Connor patiently waited for his answer, as he kept his eyes on the Lieutenant )

Hank: Somethings I wanna forget... They just never seem to go away... They keep eating me away... I don't have the courage to pull the trigger, so I kill myself a little everyday...

( He explained, with his voice all low and raspy from the alcohol )

Hank: That's probably difficult for you to understand. Huh, Connor?

( He looked back at the android, who's LED was still spinning amber )

Hank: Nothing very rational about it.

( He shrugged and took another sip from the bottle. Connor turned his attention to the Detective, who was just staring at her feet while taking a few gulps from her bottle.

Connor decided to change the subject. He walked forward towards the river border but stopped halfway. He moved his hands as he spoke )

Connor: We're not making any progress in this investigation.

( He started. Folding his arms and looked back at his partners. Only the Lieutenant paying attention, who was looking at the android )
