The sun was shining throughout the park, a bit of wind every now and then. A little girl stood beside her best friend in the middle of a wide field laughing as the wind blew their hair around. The little girl with albino hair suddenly got quiet as she looked behind her friend. In the distance stood a small yellow and blue playhouse.
"What is it?" The brown-haired girl asked as she stared confused at her friend.
"There is a playhouse!" The albino girl exclaimed pointing to the playhouse. The brown hair little girl turned her head to look at the playhouse.
"I'll race you to the playhouse!" The brown-haired girl stood up and started running and laughing.
"No fair! You got a head start!" The albino haired girl whined as she also stood up and began running trying to catch up with her friend. They both laughed as the brown-haired girl touched the playhouse wall first.
"Yes! I win!" The brown-haired girl boasted.
"That's only because you cheated!" The albino-haired girl whined. Both girls shrugged it off then opened the dark blue plastic door of the playhouse and stepped in. They both stared in awe as they looked around the small cabin like walls.
"Come on Alexa!" The albino-haired girl called out laughing a bit. Alexa looked around near the door while the other girl looked at the other side of the playhouse. The playhouse was small and could only hold around three kids.
Alexa took a couple steps to the right of the door then noticed something she had never seen inside a playhouse before. She saw a light switch and stared at it for a second before switching it on. Suddenly everything went black, the two girls screamed in terror. After a few seconds, the lights came back on but everything around them had changed. The girls were now in a huge mansion with at least two floors.
Both girls stared up at the hanging chandelier in awe, they then looked at each other before walking toward each other. They finally reached each other and held each other in their arms, they had no idea what had just happened and were shook up. Suddenly a light male singing voice could be heard throughout the mansion. The girls let go of each other and looked up the stairs to try and hear the singing better.
The two girls looked at each other then nodded before running up the stairs to find where the singing was coming from. They ran through many halls and looked in many rooms but couldn't find the source of the voice.
"We should split up and when we find it we can meet at the door" Alexa suggested as she walked toward the other side of the hall. The albino-haired girl nodded and went the opposite way to search.
Alexa ran through the many halls of the left wing and search all the rooms. She felt as if she was finally getting close to the voice, she stopped right in front of a white door. It had all sorts of colored scribbles on the wood, like another kid had come and taken their markers and drawn on the door. Alexa reached her hand toward the golden knob that was right at face level for her. She slowly opened the door and heard a shower running.
"Hello?" She spoke softly as she walked in, she didn't close the door behind her instead she walked closer to the shower. The shower curtain covered whoever, or whatever, was in there. The shower curtain was a foggy white with more childlike scribbles. The closer Alexa stepped the clearer the humming was, she finally pushed open the curtain to see only a blue little puppy.
"Puppy!" Alexa hugged the wet puppy, being only five years old the puppy made her overly excited.
"C-can you let go of me please?" The blue pup had spoken, Alexa jumped back a bit. 'dogs can't talk, can they?' Alexa thought to herself as she let go of the puppy.
"My name is Max!" The pup said jumping out of the tub and shaking off most of the water from shiny blue coat. "What's your name?" Max asked.
"My name is Alexa, I didn't know puppies could talk!" Alexa stated.
"I am not always a puppy! Only in this world, in my world I am a normal boy!" Max explained.
"Your world? There's another world?"
"Yep! My world has magic and spirits! And forests that go for miles into rivers and lakes!" The two kids started walking toward the exit door talking about Max's magical world.
Soon they reached the door, but the albino-haired girl was no where to be seen. They waited for what seemed like forever hoping the other girl would soon come running down the stairs.
"Have you seen another little girl here? She is kinda like me but with white hair." Alexa explained to Max. Max thought for a second then nodded.
"Yep! I told her about my world too, she wanted to go there so I took her there!" Max explained happily.
"But our mommies are going to be here soon to pick us up!" Alexa said worried. "Can you please bring her back!" Alexa begged.
"I can try, I don't know if I have enough power right now to do that though" Max explained sadly. Alexa felt tears start to form in her eyes thinking she would never get to see her best friend again. Suddenly Max started spinning around and a gust of wind blew through the halls.
"I can't do it! But I need to go home!" Max yelled over the screaming wind.
"But what about my friend!?" Alexa cried, her best friend was everything to her and she never wanted to live without her.
"I'm sorry"
