The trio had been walking for three days all over the land. Alexa had grown closer to both Kinoko and Max.

"So where are we now Max?" Alexa asked, Max pulled out a map and looked around.

"Seems like we are in Goblin Shore" Max said, he put his map away and they all continued walking for about an hour before seeing people. They walked out from the bushes and everyone's eyes directed toward them. Whispers could be heard from everyone as the trio walked down the street.

"What is happening?" Alexa whispered to Kinoko, she shrugged and the three were stopped by a small goblin. He looked like one of the goblins from the castle, seeing as he had a potato sack instead of leaf clothing like the commoner goblins.

"Um hello? May we get passed?" Max said looking down at the small green creature.

"Sorry Mr. Max but I can do no such thing" We all stared at the creature as he continued to talk, his voice being raspy and confident. "I need you and your friends to follow me to the queen's tower imediently" He said, we all looked at each other before being surrounded by a bunch of goblins and being forced to follow them to the queen's tower.

"What the fuck is happening Max" Alexa whispered to Max in a stern voice. He didn't even look back at Alexa and just kept walking in silence.

They soon made it to the tower, Max and Kinoko were led down a flight of stairs while Alexa was led up the tower. Alexa stayed silent, her breathing becoming heavy and her stomach sinking. She had no idea what would be waiting for her when she arrived, she hoped Kinoko and Max were safe as well. The goblin in front of Alexa stopped in front of a giant wooden door and knocked on it. He seemed to be more nervous than back at the town, which honestly terrified Alexa.

"Come in" A female voice from inside said, the goblin opened the door and the goblins behind Alexa shoved her in, she fell on the ground with a groan of pain as she hit the floor. The other goblin ran forward as the others left and closed the door.

"M-my queen! I have found the newcomer!" The goblin said excitedly. The queen stood up and turned to face Alexa lying on the ground, she stared at her for a second before turning back around. Alexa tried to get a glance at the queen but couldn't.

"Take her to your home for the time being and try to question her" The goblins eyes widened as the queen continued. "Ask her why an elf such as herself would be in the other world and without a chip" The queen finished. The goblin looked back at Alexa, he didn't even realize she was and 'elf'.

"O-of course m-my queen" The gobbling bowed before grabbing Alexa's wrist and dragging her out of the room. Before the two left the room the queen spoke up again.

"Oh and I have spoken with your wife, I have arranged a ritual for her so she will give birth a doe for you" The goblin smiled then ran out of the room, closing the huge doors behind him. He put Alexa in front of him and held her still.

"How!?" He whispers yelled. Alexa was confused at what he was asking of her. After a minute he asked again. "How did you do it!?" He began to shake Alexa a bit, like he was desperate for the answer.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Alexa whispered back to him.

"How did you leave and come back without getting caught!?" He asked desperately.

"How can I trust you?" Alexa asked in a stern voice, the goblin let go of Alexa's arms and stood silent. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her down the stairs and out of the back exist of the castle. There were small wooden huts with hay roofs, some were so poorly built that they were beginning to fall apart. The gobbling took Alexa into one of the nicer seeming huts and sat her down on a wooden stool by a table. Soon another Goblin came in, thought this one was female. Alexa assumed that she was the other goblins wife and stayed quiet.

"Oh who is that dear?" The female asked. The male went over and kissed his wife on the cheek before answering.

"That is the one who got in without getting caught that is!" The male glared back at Alexa who just gave a sarcastic smile back.

"Well then why she in our hut?!" The female yelled at the male.

"The queen told me to take her home! Like a rat off the street!" Alexa gave the male a death glare and he just rolled his eyes.

'Did he just compare me to a rat?! Out of all animals here!' Alexa thought to herself. The female glared at Alexa, then back at her husband.

"Fine then, as long as we ain't getting sent to the dungeon because of her!" The female said, she walked toward Alexa and smiled. "Sorry for the rude introduction dear, just didn't want to get in trouble now" She said, Alexa stayed silent. "Ok well my name's Enid, what's your name?" Enid asked, sitting down next to Alexa.

"Alexa" She replied. It was silent for a while before Enid spoke up.

"Well you have met my husband I see" She said with a smile.

"Sort of" Alexa replied.

"Well then you two should get to know each other, like his name is Boyd" She got up and grabbed Boyd by his arm and dragged him to the table. "Well then I must be off!" She walked toward the door and Boyd stared at her wide eyes, like he had to have her there by his side. "The queen wanted to start the process of the doe now so she could be a spring baby!" Enid smiled as she walked out laughing. Boyd and Alexa just stared at each other for a solid five minutes before Boyd spoke up.

"So since you won't tell me how you got here, tell me" He paused for a second clearing his throat. "Why are you here?" He asked, Alexa smiled before leaning over the table to get face to face with him.

"The competition? Does that ring a bell" She leaned back, Boyd's eyes went wide. He leaned forward and gave Alexa a stern look.

"You cannot challenge the queen, you will surely perish within five minutes" He paused looking Alexa up and down, then looking her back in her eyes. "especially someone like you" Alexa was filled with rage. She stood up and leaned over the table and gabbed Boyd by the hem of his top.

"I gave up everything to be here just so I can save a world I barely know" Fear struck Boyd's eyes and Alexa continued her words. "I don't want to hear another word out of your mouth saying that I can not do something when what I am doing is trying to save you" Alexa finished. Boyd stood still in fear as Alexa let go of his top. She walked over to the door before Boyd decided he had something to say.

"She'll kill you if you enter the competition..." Alexa paused, then looked back at Boyd. "And if not you, the ones you love" His voice became softer. Alexa walked back to the table and sat down infront of Boyd once again.

"Not if I can stop her" She paused, Boyd looked up at her tears were formed in his eyes. "Now, I need you to help me get my friends out of the castle" Boyd jumped back a bit.

"I can't!" He yelled. Alexa sighed before standing up and walking over to the door. "W-wait!" Alexa turned around. "Where a-are you going!?" Boyd asked.

"If you won't help me then I guess I will have to do this on my own" Alexa turned bac around and said one last thing before she closed the door. "Of course your invitation to help still stands, either way the queen would get pissed at you so what's the point?" Alexa closed the door behind her as she walked through the small town and toward the castle.
