Larry and Laurent married 3 months later at the home of one of Laurent's friends, a beautiful chateau in the countryside not far from his home.  Their home.  On the most glorious day in forever, they exchanged tearful vows of love and fidelity and forever, plighting their troths, one to the other, endowing each other with all their worldly goods.  Both dressed by their favourite designer, Dior, not many family, but an abundance of friends were there to celebrate with them, including all the staff of Heavenly Bodies.  The event was covered by the local and national press, the guys also having done a deal with a national glossy.  Amazing food was served, and champagne flowed freely, as guests chatted and laughed in the sunshine, then danced the night away under the stars.

As the happy couple were driven slowly away in a vintage car down the long driveway, fireworks erupted into the sky as they ventured into their new life together, as Mr and Mr Laurent and Larry Bourgeois.  Larry clung to Laurent's arm, his head resting on his shoulder as they headed home, it was only a few miles away, and it was the only place they wanted to be tonight.  In their own bed, and in each other's arms.

"I love you, Mr Bourgeois."

"I love you too, Mr Bourgeois."  Laurent laughed gently and quietly as he kissed his new husband.

Husband.  He never would have thought, hoped, wished, in a million years he would ever get married, he had actually made peace with what he thought was fact.  In his loneliness, and in the dark, he couldn't even fathom this kind of happiness.  Growing up he had known the smallest morsel of happiness with his maman, and it was enough to let him know that it did exist, but also enough to let him know the pain of not experiencing it ever again in his life.  Until, Larry.  This man, his light, his life.  And not just any man, a fucking angel, for Heavens sake.

"OK, so, now we're married"  Larry stated, an ominous edge to his voice that scared Laurent a little, "when do we have kids ?"

Larry had given up his apartment, and moved in with Laurent even before the wedding.  Their commute was only a 20 minute drive into the heart of the city, which was nothing, and it wasn't often.
