You were studying in the library when you hear two girls make fun of Neville for liking plants
You've always been nice to him hoping you can feel like you've made up for what your mother did to his parents, or at least feel less guilty that your parents were there and you were technically there as well, your mother was holding baby you as she tortured them
"Hey neville can you come over here?" You ask and he walks over kinda sad as he held his Herbology book
"Uh yeah l/n how can I help you." He asks and you smile
"You know about plants right?" You ask and he nods sadly as he was waiting for you to be rude to him "great thanks can you help me with how to stop a plant from wilting? I got this plant my aunt gave me and was wondering if you could help me." You say and Neville's face brightened up as he nodded and started going through thousands of ways to help the plant
You just sat there and listened to him going on and on about plants which you started to find really adorable and cute

Draco nods
"So you became friends then got together because of plants? Wow you both are losers." Draco says and you glare at him
"Shut up." You say and Draco then started to stutter yeah he's scared of you
Your mom then walks in and you ignore her pretending she doesn't exist as you talk to Draco and not stoping so your mom can't talk to you
