I was finally back at work, after a week. That might have been the longest week of my life. I've managed to avoid speaking to Reid the entire day, he seemed to get the message.

There were no more games, no more bickering and the rest of the team seemed to catch onto it.

"What's up with those two?" Morgan whispers to Emily. She shrugs her shoulders in response. They found it unusual that we were so quiet the whole day.

And honestly, I don't miss it, being around Reid is the most tiring thing ever. I feel like I have to compete with him because I'm not good enough or smart enough. No one compares to him, he's Mr. perfect, his large IQ, collection of degrees, and his family. Especially his family. Don't get me wrong I love the team, but they're not my family. Not that I don't consider them family, I do. But I'm not sure they feel the same way.

"Y/n, Y/n" Penelope snaps in my face trying to get my attention.

"Sorry, I must've spaced out. What's up?"

"Do you want to go get drinks with us, Derek, Emily, JJ, and Spencer are going" I glance over at Reid.

"Not tonight Pen, I'm not really up to it tonight, next time though. I'll even buy" I give her a sympathetic smile.

"Fine, but I'm holding you to it" She points at me as she walks back to her office.

Everyone's already left except Hotch, who basically lives in his office. I stayed a little later finishing up some paperwork that I was behind on. As soon as I finish I pack up my belongings.

I go into Hotch's office to drop off my finished paperwork.

Knock knock

"Come in" he announces. I walk in and place it on his desk, "Here is all my paperwork, Have a goodnight" I say.

"Goodnight" he responds.

On my way home I make a quick pit stop at the drug store to pick up, some snacks that I was craving. As I walk out of the store some douche shoulder checks me. "Watch it would you?" I called after him. I rub my shoulder, the idiot scratched me. I continue my way back to my car when everything looking really blurry, then I start feeling woozy, barely being able to stand on my own two feet. I rummage through my bag trying to pull out my car keys, but everything was blurry, my hands started to feel numb.

Just as I reach my car, I manage to pull out my keys and unlock the car, right when I open the door, someone hits me over the head with something. The last thing I remember was the searing pain in my head.

-
I slowly began to regain consciousness, my whole body was sore. I tried to move but my arms were restrained to something. I couldn't really tell what it was though. The sudden sound of metal clanking jolts me awake.

My hands were tied with a chain the hung from the ceiling, and there was a box underneath me, that was helping me stand.

I look straight ahead, and I see someone else chained up to the ceiling, but I couldn't tell who it was my vision was still blurred. I blink a couple of times trying to focus. Then I realized who was right in front of me.

Reid.

I tried to get him to wake up by calling his name repeatedly, "Reid! Reid! Reid!" I yelled. I mean he was only a couple of feet away from me, how unconscious could he be.

Wait.

How long have I been here? How long has Reid been here? Does the team know we're missing? I have a shitload of questions, but not any answers, and I need answers.

I notice Reid starting to regain consciousness, he started mumbling something but I couldn't hear him.

Suddenly the doors burst open, making a loud noise that hurts my ears. "Wakey, Wakey" a man exclaimed as he walked into my line of sight. He was of average height and build. He wore all black clothes and had a ski mask over his face. Great.

He steps towards me, and grabs me by my hair, and pulls my head back to get a better look at me. He was all cheery. What a fucking psycho.

"Your boyfriend over here, put up quite a fight," he says.

My boyfriend seriously?

He let go of my head, letting it fall back down, he paced around us, like he was contemplating on what to do with us, "Ooo, I have an idea! Let's play a game"

"I'm going to ask you questions and if you don't answer it your boyfriend over here... well let's just say he won't make it out of here alive" he peered back at Reid, who was now awake.

"What do you want?" I rasped.

He ignores my question, "You and I are a lot alike, both of us living on life on the outside. But who we really are, we keep that buried deep inside where no one can ever find it"

"You don't know anything about me" I spit at him.

"Sure I do, I know that your family lives in East Hampton, New York. I know that you have a twin brother. Oops! had a twin brother. What was his name?... Christoper? Am I right?"

I fight the urge to scream in this fuckers face, with every ounce of strength in my body I say, "I don't know what you're talking about" I say with a stoic face.

He jerked back and punched me in the face without warning. Until I could comprehend what was happening. I groaned loudly as I felt a sharp pain on one of my cheekbones.

"Liar!" he shouts in my face.

God this guy has serious anger issues.

He faces Reid and begins to unwrap a leather pouch, it was filled with all types of sharp knives.

"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you anything you wanna know just..." why did I feel like I was out of breath? "Just leave him alone"

That was the last thing I said before I passed out again.
