Traveling like normal humans was weirder than they thought, waiting for busses and walking for long periods of time was exhausting.

It took them almost a week to get to the border with Canada, where they walked into a forest. Hoseok was on the front, guiding them into the witch's cave.

He was still mad at Moonbyul, so he avoided talking to her.

"Can we talk?" Byul said walking faster so she could walk along him on the front."Please" Hoseok closed his eyes, he knew he had to talk to her because being angry with her was killing him "let's camp here. We're not going to be there before sunset so it's best if we stay far enough from her cave" he said loudly so all their friends would listen. Namjoon nodded and pursed his lips "I'll find some wood to make a fire" he said and disappeared into the woods. All the others made themselves comfortable on rocks and the ground but Hoseok turned to Moonbyul "let's go for a walk" he said, taking her hand and pulling her.

They talked in silence for a while until Moonbyul stopped "can we talk now?" she asked, Hoseok turned to her and sighed. Moonbyul was the love of his life, she was his best friend, so it was hard for him to understand why she kept secrets from him. He started thinking maybe the phone wasn't the only secret his wife was keeping. "I've never lied to you" he simply stated "I know it's not a big deal and maybe I'm making it worse than it is, but I'm actually hurt" Moonbyul walked towards him and placed her hands on his chest "I know honey and I'm sorry. I truly am. Yuna wanted one so her classmates wouldn't make her feel left out, and I was the one that surprised her with one, and the one that had the idea of not telling you. I was worried that you wouldn't let her have it and she was so happy. I Know I shouldn't have kept it a secret, it was the worst feeling having to lie to you, and now that the phone might have something to do with their disappearance... I feel like it's my fault" Byul covered her face with both hands so Hoseok wouldn't see her crying, but her husband knew better. He pulled her into his arm, hugging her and kissing her forehead "It's not your fault, ok? I'm sorry, too. Let's just leave this behind and focus on getting our babies back" Byul didn't reply verbally but she nodded. She was still sobbing so Hoseok took her face in his hands and caressed her cheeks "I love you" he whispered and it was all it took for her to feel better. She said "I love you" back and Hoseok kissed her.

Hoseok couldn't manipulate time anymore but his kiss still made Byul feel like time stopped. She forgot for a moment about all that was happening and she could only focus on how soft he felt against her mouth, how addictively he invaded all her senses. Hoseok loved his wife more than anything and he loved to cherish her. He pulled her closer tracing his fingertips against her waist under her shirt. It was a moment they needed, but it was quickly over, when they heard Namjoon shouting at them.

"Let 's go, babe. We have to get some rest, tomorrow we're going with Jamie, and you know what that means" Hoseok kissed her head again and took a deep breath, always loving how she smelled. She nodded "Last time we were there was both the best and worst day of my life" she replied "I don't know if this is a good idea".

Hoseok knew well what she meant, Jamie was the most powerful witch they had ever known so he was sure she could help them. But at the same time, she was machiavellian. He knew she was going to ask for something in return that was going to be hurtful for them. "It's the only option we have. If just one of us goes, she's going to destroy them. If we go together we might have a better chance of getting out of there with powers again" Byul nodded. They returned to the others and soon they were all sleeping, except for Hoseok that was just thinking about the day that was ahead of them.

In the morning they woke up with the first lights and they headed towards the cave where they would find the witch.
