"Do you think he did it?" Wheein asked. She and Jimin were looking in Jungkook's apartment, the place was dark and small and definitely could use a clean up. "Honestly a part of me wants it to be him. He's someone we know and someone we know we can defeat. But deep down I don't think it's him. Jungkook isn't really a bad guy, he just was manipulated by his mother, and besides, I trust Namjoon, he and Jin are two of the most intelligent people I know, if Jungkook wanted to do something bad to us I think they would've noticed" Jimin said and Wheein nodded "yeah, I don't think he is the responsible one. I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I think the one that did it might be wanting to frame him. Knowing we would doubt him if he disappeared the same day as our children" "Yeah, that makes sense" Jimin replied.
Wheein knew she wanted to ask Jimin about his situation with Hyejin but she didn't knew how to start. Her best friend had been distant lately and she knew she was hurting so she must've been hurting Jimin too. Jimin was also her friend so she wanted to make sure he was alright.
"Your thoughts are so loud Wheeinie" Jimin said looking at her "what's going on?" Wheein smiled "I thought you could control the light not read minds" she said teasingly "I don't have to read your mind when you keep looking at me like that and sighing every 5 seconds. Is this about Taehyung? Do you want to talk about it?" she denied with her head "no. I mean, it's not about Taehyung, It's about you... and Hyejin" Jimin looked surprising "oh" he managed to say "Are you ok? I know your relationship is not good" she continues "well, for our relationship to go well we must have any kind of relationship. Which we don't" he said looking down "we are almost strangers. I know she talks to you, so you know how we have grown apart... It's just so difficult, you know, trying to save her when she doesn't want to be saved"
Wheein knew Hyejin was sinking down but she didn't imagined her friend was that far gone and neither she knew she was drowning Jimin with her. She saw the pain in Jimin's eyes and the sincerity in his words "I know it's difficult for her, not being able to have kids, I know that. But it's difficult for me too, and I'm not referring at the fact that we can't have babies, but the fact that she is distancing from me. I just want us to go back to normal and see her happy. But if I'm being honest Wheeinie, I don't think being with me is going to make her happy. Not anymore" "I'm sorry your going through that" Wheein said "I understand both of you and I really hope you become happy someday too Jiminie. I don't know what else to tell you, it's not like I know hot to make a marriage works anyway" she said laughing "I just wanted you to know that I'm here for you too, not only for her" Jimin smiled "I know, and I'm here for you too if you ever want to talk about that. Or anything else... is everything alright?" Wheein had abruptly turned to the door and placed a finger in her mouth signaling to Jimin to be quiet. She was hearing someone on one of the rooms "there's someone there" she whispered just for Jimin to hear. Jimin claimed the lights with his hand leaving the apartment in darkness. They hide behind a wall and heard a door opening, and footsteps approaching them.
There was someone, waking in the dark leaving something in the table next to the door and returning from where he came from. Jimin decided to act so he turned the lights back on and the stranger covered his eyes from the sudden change. He was wearing all black and a mask prevented them from seeing his face.
A second later the stranger was punching Jimin, which made Jimin fall to the floor.
Jimin wasn't as young anymore but he was constantly in the gym training so he got up fast and give the stranger a fair fight.
They were kicking and punching, throwing themselves on top of the furniture and breaking what was on their way.
Wheein knew her powers were there, and even when she used them as little as she could, she didn't struggle into putting the two fighters into the air preventing the others from moving.
She placed Jimin on the floor with a movement of her hand and turned completely to the stranger.
"who are you?" she asked but the masked one didn't answered. Jimin was panting and bleeding from his cheekbone "I wouldn't mess with her. She can easily kill you" he said trying to intimidate him, but again there was not response. Wheein then rolled his eyes "If you don't want to tell me, I can find out on my own" she raised the other hand and then just a finger, going slowly upwards making the mask lift from his face.
Jimin and Wheein both looked at the mask and then the face behind it "surprise" he said smiling.
"Jungkook??" Jimin asked confused, the shock made Wheein let her guard down so Jungkook took the opportunity to run and jump out of a window before they could do anything about it.
