                            🌼ADESEWA🌼

Right from the moment I walked into the Nitro club that night, I knew I shouldn't have come. Everything just felt... off. From the beat of the loud music that felt like it was sounding in my chest, to the crazy coloured lights that made my eyes twitch.

I had that gut wrenching feeling I usually had whenever I was about make a bad decision, but I chose to ignore it.

I was never a fan of crowded places to begin with, which just made me more uncomfortable. I walked around, looking carefully for my dickhead stepbrother who brought me here.

Most of the people present were Emerald's students, especially the final year. It was not surprising, it was Tomi's birthday party after all. From the look of things, the party deserved the turn out of students.

I passed by a group of guys getting high on drugs and other stuff that I didn't even want to know. Using my handkerchief to shield my nose from the heavy smell of alcohol and weed that threatened to burst through my olfactory nerves, I quickly walked away from that area.

"Sewa!"

I suddenly heard my name, it was kind of faint due to the loud music. I looked around for who called my name.

"Sewa!" I heard it again, the voice sounding familiar this time.

Then I felt a tap on my back. I looked back to see Kendra, one of my classmates at school. I had to stop and admire her outfit. She looked so hot in the gown she had on. Although, it was showing a lot of legs,_ and boobs.

"Heyy, nice dress" I found myself saying.

"Thank you." She replied sweetly, pulling me for a quick hug.

"What were you thinking when you left home looking like that?"she said, looking at my clothes from top to bottom.

I felt stupid with the way she looked at me. Everyone here were dressed to kill, while I was just dressed in casual jeans, a t-shirt and sandals. I knew I should've worn something better.

"Uh..I'm not here for the party."I said in embarrassment.

My stepbrother, Kingsley called me a while ago, asking me, or rather, begging me to bring him a change of clothes, with the claim that the one he was wearing got ruined. I couldn't even refuse, I just had to help him.

I really found it wierd that Kingsley would call me of all people. Or maybe it was just because we lived together. I was the only one who had the quickest access to his stuff, because we lived under the same roof. But still, he could've called my sister. I waved off the thought, bringing myself back to the present.

"Oh. So, why are you here then?" Kendra asked.

"Kingsley asked me to bring something for him." I said, holding up the bag in my hand. "Besides, have you seen him around?"

"Yeah, I saw him going into the restroom just a while ago. It's over there."She said, pointing to a corner of the large room.

"Okay, thanks. Have fun"

"Sure, I will." She said and turned on her heels.

I sighed as I looked at where the supposed restroom was located. I had to pass through a crowd of people dancing before I could get there. I was disappointed when I realised that there was no other way to get there.

Kingsley, I'm so going to kill you when I find you.

I slipped into the crowd of sweaty bodies and drunk teenagers. The combination of perfumes, body odour and over-applied cologne rented the atmosphere. I forced my way through, crammed in between several bodies than I could count, each of them dancing, swirling, and jumping with adrenaline pumped happiness.
