"What are your names again?" America asked. Looking at the two in the front seats. He felt like a kid, he didn't know anything, and he had to sit in the back seat.
"I'm Russia."
"And I'm Mexico."
"Russia, Mexico, Russia, Mexico, Russia, Mexico," America quietly repeated to himself, trying to keep the two names in his mind.
"Also, what kind of giant naked rat is that?" America asked, pointing to Niki. Russia laughed.
"She's not a rat! She's a dog!" Mexico yelled, feeling insulted.
"Well, she looks like a naked rat." America huffed, looking at the dog.
Mexico sighed. He remembered when he took Ame to see Xoloitzcuintli puppies, Ame called them naked rats. Though after a while, he did come to like them and picked one out. Mex let him name it, and at the time thought nothing of the name Niki. Not until a year later when Ame told him that he namer her Niki so he could call her Niki the Naked dog. Mexico was unamused at the time, but it was kinda funny looking back at it.
Russia parked the car in the parking lot of the UN building. The three got out and Mex put Niki on a leash and walked in with the others.
"This is the UN Building, every country has an office here, and every once and a while UN holds a world meeting. Everyone has to show up and they're boring as hell but important." Russia explained. America nodded.
They walked into the building. America looked around in awe. It was a very cool looking building, the entire front was glass. The main entry was was all open, and towards the left/center was a giant staircase that went up to the second floor balcony. The balcony looked over the main entry, and had a facy blue glass rainling on it. To the right was a check in area, not really sure why it was there but it was.
"Ah! They've arrived!" A voice said. America turned his head to see a tall man on the second floor balcony. The man opened his wings and flew down to Russia, Mexico, and America.
"Mr. UN, America's copy-" Russia started but was cut off.
"Yes yes, I know who he is." The man said, waving his hand dismissively at Russia, not tearing his gaze away from America. He shifted uncomfortably under the tall man.
"H-Hello?"
"Hello! I'm UN, or United Nations if you prefer. You're probably quite confused." He said, smiling and offering his hand.
"I actually-" Before America could finish his sentence UN cut him off, grabbing his hand and pulling him along.
"Let me show you around the building!" UN said, practically dragging the country through the entire building.

America was relieved as UN told him that the tour would be over because they needed to get to the next UN meeting. So far, he wasn't a big fan of UN. Yes, UN's job was important but he seemed too strict and fake. It was putting America off. UN pulled him into a room on the second floor. Inside was a very long table with many swivel chairs around it. At the vary back of the room was an elevated 'stage' with a podium in the front center.
There were already a few countries in the room. One was rather short, and had a blue flag with a Red Cross and white surrounding the cross. Next to the short man was a woman with a stripe of blue, white, and red running vertically on her face. Next to those two were two boys and one girl.
"America!" They all seemed to say. The girl got out of her chair as if she was going to run to the man, but her brother stopped her.
"It's not him." He whispered to her. She looked back at America, who was waving awkwardly. She frowned, hugging her older brother.
