*Gaby*

After the whole go down with my aunt and Esme, Christopher has been quiet the whole way over to the restaurant. We pull up to "Canlis" which is supposed to be a really good seafood place. I love seafood! Christopher gets out and opens the door for me, I take his hand and we walk in. We are greeted and asked for our reservations, Christopher's eyes go big, "I am sorry miss, I didn't make any reservations. How long will the wait be?" The lady looks down at what I'm guessing is the schedule, "It'll be about an hour and a half sir." Christopher turns to me, "Did you want to wait Gabriella? We don't have to if you want to." I shake my head, "No it's okay. We can wait." He looks at me then looks back at the lady, "Table for two then." The lady nods, "And your name sir?" "Christopher." "Very well then you may have a seat."

"Gabriella I am so glad that you agreed to having dinner with me." I smile at him and shake my head, "No thank you for inviting me. I'm sorry that you know before how it was. I just wasn't ready." He nods and smiles then scoots closer to me, "I didn't even ask if you liked seafood! I am so sorry." "No no! I love seafood! I heard great things about this place." "I did too, so are you enjoying your new job?" Oh crap. He must still be hung up on me not working for him, "I am. So far so good, I've been kept busy, and my boss is very nice." Christopher shifts, "I was shocked when you got that job instead of working for our firm. But I am glad that you enjoy this job." I knew it! He's still hung up, then I grab his hand and I hear him gasp. "I would have accepted if your firm had called earlier you know."

After an hour later of sitting and talking, we are finally seated. He held my hand after I grab his hand. I am being very brave usually I wouldn't make the first move but, I want this to work. He hasn't let go of my hand since. We both order crab which is funny because we both said it at the same time and the waiter seemed to be amused. Christopher grins at me and I laugh when the waiter leaves. "I would have never guess you liked crab. I thought you would have gone for salmon." "That's what Esme says! She thinks I'm more of the fish, salmon type instead of the whole crab and shrimp. Which I love shrimp by the way." Christopher laughs hard and that's when I notice just how lovely this man sitting next to me is. I can't screw this up.

"Gabriella, how are you and Esmeralda living with her parents? I don't mean to be so rude but they do not seem like lovely people." "My aunt and uncle have always been like that, and I always wondered how they could have possibly had a child since they are so crude. Esme is nothing like them, she is the complete opposite of what they are." He squeezes my hand and brings it up to his mouth and gently kisses it. My body tingles everywhere. The warm feeling that spread throughout me with just a small kiss, felt so beautiful. "I really don't like the idea of you going back there Gabriella. It truly does look like a very messed up situation. I hope that you and Esmeralda find somewhere sooner rather than two weeks." I smile and shrug,"I hope so too but it is hard looking for apartments and-" "I could help you look! I have a friend who's a real estate agent, he would gladly help." Goodness this man. "That would be lovely! Oh thank you!"

I had such a lovely time, dinner was perfect and the conversation wasn't awkward like I thought it would be. Christopher texted Mikael to let him know that we ate later and that we would be home after he dropped off Esme. Turns out Esme and Mikael decided to wait for us to come. Christopher plays Kings of Leon, and I smile like the chesire cat. He's perfect, but am I, for him?
