CAMILAS POV

"Mommy?"

"Mommy are you okay?"

"I- I'm fine baby jus-"

"No, tell our daughter how much of a pathetic bitch you are"

"WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP"

"What?"

"MOMMY"

"PLEASE STOP- STOP YOUR HURTING ME"

"GET OFF HER PLEASE"

"NO"

I jumped awake with sweat and a tear soaked face.

I worriedly looked around, almost forgetting I had been living with the Polibios.

I guess my dream fro tonight was a flashback....

Interesting....

Flashbacks and memories started running through my head of my mom and just traumatic experiences I had watched.

I started breathing heavily, trying to keep myself from crying. 

I grabbed my pillow and scooted myself back so that my back was against my headboard. I hugged my pillow, trying to keep myself from crying.

After a few minutes I kinda calmed down and grabbed my phone from the floor.

I checked it and saw that it was 2:14 in the morning.

Sigh😀

I need coffee

I get up out of bed and make my way towards the kitchen where the coffee maker is. I look at it and just think.

This seems like too much work

Hmm

I wonder if Starbucks open....

I guess we'll find out😀

I go up to my room and put on some sweatpants because I was wearing shorts. I the slide in my old vans bc they were closer to me and grab my phone and money. I quietly grab my skateboard and walk out.

I pop in my AirPods and The Way Life Goes by Uzi starts playing.

I breath in the fresh and crisp air as I admire the poorly lit streets.

A few cars would pass by every now and then.

After about 15 minutes, I began to see the sign for Starbucks begin to grow closer. I finally got to the building and saw that they had been open.

I grab my board and walk in.

Worker: hi how may I help you?

Camila: hi Um  can I please get a White Mocha Venti with sweet cream and an extra shot of espresso?

Worker: yeah no problem, what's the name?

Camila: Camila

Worker: okay your total will be $6.57
