"So this is it,huh?"
I smiled nodding as I looked at the website brightly displayed across my laptop's screen. The soft blue and pink colored crooked logo and equally colorful ads moved across my screen in a slideshow. Women dressed to perfection in fun locations danced across the screen as each slide brought about a different feeling. For some, it was fun in the sun as they enjoyed being in nature. For others, it was a night on the town as captured scenes from a club slid across the laptop as the ads changed.
Finally, the last picture displayed itself on my computer and I had to smiled. A woman no older than her late 20's wore a bright yellow and black dress. It held flowers of various colors and with the cut and her pose, reminded me of Havana.
Quietly, I drew my attention away from the computer and glanced back at Key's slightly frown yet contemplative face.
Sighing, he looked at me. Exasperated, and overly dramatic, his asked, "how in the hell do you even come up with these names? First, Neris, and now this?" Laughing, he pointed to the logo of my new endeavor.
"You don't like it," I stated more than asked. Crestfallen, I tried my best not to let it show on my face, but failed miserably.
"I didn't say that," huffed Key. Giggling, he nudged my shoulder with his trying to lighten the mood a bit. "I mean, Kikah. Nillapop? What does that even mean?"
"I thought it was cute RoRo and MinMin liked it when I told them." I beamed. It was true my kids loved the name when I told them. However, I conveniently left out what Taemin had to say about the name.
"So, your not gonna tell me what it means, are you?"
"Nope," I shot back jovially. "The commercial says all you need to know."
"Sis, that commercial says confusion with a kpop beat." Joked Key. "Oh, and dancing donuts. So, yeah, gonna need a bit more clarification then that."
"Then obviously you missed a few things and need to watch it again," I countered, already bringing up the ad and pressing play.
Laughing, Key tried his best not to sing the catchy tune as he watched the video for the 5th time in less than 20 minutes and I couldn't help but laugh too. He was really trying so hard to hate it but I could tell he was failing miserably.
Regardless of how anyone felt Nillapop was happening. In fact, I had already planned to launch the website some time this week. I just wanted to see Key's reaction to it before I did it.
"Well, Kiks," he began resolutely, "hit the live button and lets get this thing launched. The commercial is too much of a damn earworm for other people not to hear it."
Smiling brightly, I hit the live button and together we watched the site go public.
"And away we go!"
