Hey, everyone, good to see you again. I hope you all doing well. Anyway, I've got big new. The Xiaolin Dragon King: First Arc story is currently in the #2 rank in the Xiaolin Showdown story category. I was a little surprised it happened so soon, but I'm really happy about and I'll try to enjoy it while it last. However, the story could not have been placed in #2 if it wasn't for you readers.
I want to give a special thanks to plotgodess, Nemu_Hime, warriorprincess76, sailortara, and SmartSnowWhite for their votes and kind comments.
Now, I won't keep you guys waiting any longer, let's get on with the story.

Chapter Six: Screams of the Siren

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Xiaolin Warriors had gotten news that another Shen Gong Wu, the Gills of Hamachi, had revealed itself. They flew to where it was located, a cold area of the ocean with glaciers. They found where it was, but so did a certain self-proclaimed evil genius.

The race for the Wu ended up with a Xiaolin Showdown between Omi and Jack to see who could reach it first. The short monk had trouble moving along the ice while the taller boy was unexpectedly skilled at skating on ice.

"I ask for knife throwing lessons, Mom sends me figure skating." Jack said as he skated in circles around a dazed Omi laying on the ice and holding the Orb of Tornami. "'You'll never known when it'll come in handy'." he repeated what his mother told him in a higher tone of voice. "Now I feel kinda bad for making a robot out of her juicer." he jumped into the air, twirling as he did so, and landed gracefully on a piece of ice close by.

"That Spicer kid sure has nice form." Dojo admitted as he and other Warriors were watching the showdown from an ice pillar.

"Whoo, lookie there, triple sow cow!" Clay exclaimed, making the others look at him. "What, cowboys can't like figure skating?" he crossed his arms.

"Come on, Omi! Just because you're built like a hockey puck, doesn't mean you have to skate like you!" Raimundo shouted.

"Jack Spicer, your fancy spinning may impress the crowd, but it will not help you win the Gills of Hamachi!" Omi declared as he got up. He jumped after the young evildoer, still not being able to keep his balance on the ice properly.

"But this will, ice ball." Jack said when he reached the tall glacier that the Shen Gong Wu was on. "Jetbootsu!" he activated his Wu. He started walking up the side of the glacier with ease just as Omi reached the base of it, immediately slipping and falling down.

"The Gills of Hamachi are ours!" Wuya said victoriously from the ice pillar she was floating on.

"I wouldn't count Omi out just yet, Wuya." Juno told her, keeping her eyes on the showdown. "After all, he's one of my apprentices."

The short monk saw his opponent getting closer to the Wu, with no way for him to get to it himself. He hit the glacier in frustration, making cracks and a small hole appear. Omi looked at the hole and soon got an idea. He placed the Orb of Tornami right against the hole.

"Orb of Tornami Water!"

Water shot out of the Shen Gong Wu and into the hole, creating more cracks with water coming out of them. The cracks climbed up the glacier and went to the very top. Jack sniggered as he reached for the Gills of Hamachi. Then he felt the glacier start to shake and noticed the cracks. The part of the glacier he was on broke apart and he fell, along with pieces of ice. Omi leaped up and used the falling ice as leverage to jump closer to the top.
