Chapter 10: Will you forget the...

AN: HELLO WELCOME TO THE CRAZINESS

3rd person POV

Pegasus does a sharp into the deep canyon causing Lena to flinch and hold on tighter to Kara. 

The land roughly but Kara is focused on saving the kids momentarily not noticing a dazed and slightly green Lena. 

That doesn't last long when Kara hears a groan from behind her. 

She turns to face Lena and says "Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine. Just get me down before I ruin the upholstery" Lena says still dazed. 

She takes Kara's hand to help her down but Pegasus has other plans and bucks the woman off her back and into Kara's arms. 

Kara catches the woman easily holding her carefully until both of their attention is drawn to a little boy's voice yelling "Help! I can't breathe!" 

And a second voice is heard in between coughs "Hurry!" 

"Get us out!" the voice continues shouting as Kara set's Lena down gently and moves to where the voices are coming from.

"We're suffocating!" 

"Somebody call IX-I-I!" 

Kara reaches the large boulder they are trapped under and says "Easy fellas. You'll be all right." trying to sound reassuring. 

"We can't last much longer!" 

"Get us out before we get crushed!" 

The town had finally reached the gorge and was watching the young hero examine the boulder that was almost 7 times her height and easily around a ton.

Kara takes a deep breath and releases before squatting and lifting with all her might. 

"UGHHHH" She grunts out as she slowly starts lifting the rock. 

The crowd's expressions changed from unimpressed to shocked as the blonde lifts the rock onto her back and stands up fully. 

The blonde misses the small "Wow" that comes out of Lena's mouth as she gives an impressed smile. 

The crowd claps lightly as Kara says "How you boys doin'?" while holding the rock like it was nothing. 

One of the little boys says "We're okay now." In an awed tone before the second adds. 

"Jeepers, mister. You're really strong"

Kara does her best heroic sounding voice as she says "Well, try to be a little more careful next time, okay, kids?"

"We sure will!" They yell as they run off pretending to lift the bolder like Kara did. 

Kara throws the boulder into an area where it won't do any more damage as the two kids discreetly run up a path they reach a slight alcove and stop running. 

"A stirring performance boys," Lex says as he eats some worms. "I was really moved" 

The taller of the two boys turns to the shorter as their bodies change shapes into the small blue demon "'Jeepers, mister'?" 

The shorter says "I was going for innocence" as he shifts into the short red demon.

Lex turns to the woman who was standing at the entrance of the alcove as he says "And, hey, two thumbs way, way up for our leading lady. What a dish. What a doll." 

She turns away from the god and looks down at the blonde as she whispers "Get outta there, you gib lug, while you still can." guilt racking her body.
