277 A.C.
King's LandingIt had been a few moons since Leia had arrived in King's Landing, and everything had been prepared for her wedding. Her dress was complete and fit to measure, with matching jewellery — courtesy of Elia.
Over her time in King's Landing, Leia has grown closer to Ashara and Elia, than her other ladies in waiting, and considered them her friends.
Lysa, Catelyn and Janna has still continued with their constant bickering, but there was no physical fights or loud arguments as of yet.
Leia was currently sitting at dinner, next to Rhaegar, with her soon-to-be-father notably absent. The whole castle had gone into a frenzy when it was declared that their King had been kidnapped, whilst discussing the petition, by Lord Denys Darklyn after not paying his taxes.
Lord Tywin, despite his strained relationship with the Mad King, was hard at work to retrieve Aerys, much to everyone's surprise. Rhaegar had been worried sick, and there was nothing Leia could do to comfort him.
Rhaella and Viserys had been allowed to leave their room, and walk freely around the Red Keep, in the absence of her brother-husband. Leia had grown to love the little babe who was filled with life and joy. She had also grown to like Rhaella, she was a kind woman and an amazing mother to Viserys.
At the dinner table, Rhaegar was staring at the abyss and not touching his food, just drumming his fingers on the table. Rhaella was struggling to calm down Viserys, to allow the wet nurse to feed him — and allow herself to finally eat. Leia was affected by the unspoken yet tense atmosphere, and just swirled her food around her plate.
Leia sighed softly and attempted to envelope Rhaegar's large hands in her own small hands. She looked into his dark indigo eyes — where Viserys had been pale violet and hers was more a pink than purple.
"Rhaegar, I know we are to be married in a moon.. but, we can postpone it until your father has arrived home from Duskendale."
Rhaegar's hands fell limp in her own. He didn't want to postpone it, he wanted her to be his as soon as possible, but anyone could see how stressed he was. He felt awful that it was now beginning to take a toll on his beautiful Velaryon.
He removed her hands from his and placed them on her cheeks. She leant into his touch. "Love, I don't want to move the wedding. But I am sorry you felt you have to." He said to her smiling faintly, she mirrored his smile and he couldn't help but kiss her forehead lightly.
They were interrupted by a clearing of the throat and they both turned around to see Rhaella sitting there with a small smirk. "You two are adorable. But please, eat first."
They all laughed lightheartedly and began to eat their food in a comfortable silence — even Rhaella, for she had finally calmed the babe.

When they got back to their room, they both slid behind their screens and got changed. Leia returned wearing a nightgown, which thinking about it, probably was not the most suitable choice as they were not married yet. Rhaegar had returned wearing a thin tunic and breeches.
Rhaegar climbed into bed after Leia and brought his arm around her waist. She turned to look at him. Even in the dark, he could see her bright magenta eyes, behind her long lashes.
He kissed her and she turned to wrap her arms around his neck. The kiss deepened and she moaned into it. He smirked as the kiss became more heated. She sat up and sat on his lap. Straddling him, he placed his hands on her waist.
They both pulled away when they realised how out of hand it had gotten. Leia visibly blushed and climbed off of him and back under the safety of the silk sheets. "Goodnight my love."
