day three

The girls were attacked by huge storm. All of a sudden, it started to rain so hard that they couldn't prepare for it.

"I really hate storms." Jade yelled, putting a sweatshirt above her head that was immediately soaked. Shelby covered her and Martha with a piece of cloth that didn't help either, and someone gave up and someone was still trying.

"I used to think storms were like majestic." Leah exclaimed, hiding under her sweater and tucking her book under the shirt.

"Is that still your take?" Rachel asked her, who no longer resisted the water.

"No!" Leah called back when wave of water hit her. Dot pulled the emergency slide and they all sat down under it. Jade next to Leah and Shelby.

"How's your ankle?" Shelby asked Martha, who looked really scared.

"Better, I think, but it's just so itchy." Martha confessed and started scratching instead.

"I agree, my toes are about to fall off." Jade agreed, and Leah said too that her leg was itching.

"Sand fleas" Dot said.

"Sand what?" Fatin growled, she looked really cold.

"Sand fleas.. well they're not really like fleas, they're more like tiny little shrimp." Dot said.

"No" Fatin defended, not wanting to feel like little buddies were crawling all over her. Leah and Jade were terrified, so they began to scratching.

"They're not lethal, they're just annoying, once the rain stops we can just go scrub them off." Dot tried a little to calm everyone down, but it didn't help. Jade had already taken off her shoes and was scratching her fingers where it bothered her so much.

"Shit, I can't stand this." Jade continued.

"Hey.." Shelby took her hand and removed it from her leg. "It will make it worse." the wet blonde girl held her hand, and Jade moved to avoid human contact.

"You know before they get a chance to burrow." Dot added.

"FUCK MY LIFE!! " Fatin stepped out into the rain and screamed as loud as she could. The storm answered with thunder, so the girls quickly pulled her back to dry place.

"Morale was low.. maybe not low more like hungry.." Dot answered the agents before taking a sip of her milkshake, in her interrogation. "can I get a another one of those?" Dot pointed on the empty plastic bottle.

"So was Jade always so locked?" Faber asked Dot about the girl, who wriggle uncomfortably.

"After her accident, she really started talking to us, like she'd really changed, maybe that made her to trust us more." Dot avoided eye contact and picked up some french fries.

"Tell us more about it."

"I think she should say it herself and if she didn't mention it, she doesn't trust you."

The storm finally stopped Jade went on a walk, to the rocks and beyond, still little wet, and she feared her stone sign had not lasted long. She was heading back to the camp around the woods, so she decided she could try to look for some food.

......

"Blue crab sushi from Hitana drizzled in ponzu sauce, with just the lighstest touch, just a kiss of wasabi." Fatin was lying on the ground next to the girls, dreaming of her favorite food.

"I just want some Indian tacos, the way mum makes them with black beans and velveeta." Martha recalled right next to Fatin. "

I would destroy some velveeta right now." the seated Toni said, who also had her eyes closed. "like I would just house it straight from the pocket." Toni opened her eyes and was disappointed to see no food in front of her.
