Sal couldn't help but stare at his first friend he ever made here. They looked amazing he had to admit.

As y/n looked up they were happy to see there blue haired friend there with them.

"Hey sal! You ready to go. Larry's waiting for us outside and we don't wanna miss the bus."

"hm.. Oh uh yeah, let's go. You uh look nice today by the way.. Not that you don't everyday I mean!-"

"Its okay! I get it, thanks" You let out a small chuckle

You both head to the elevator sal pushing the button to go down to the first floor.

Seeing Larry standing outside by the bus stop waiting for his friends.

"Hey Larry!" Y/n ran up to the taller male.

"Took you guys long enough. I thought we were gonna miss the bus for fucks sake"

"Tell that to him, sal was practically getting ready for a red carpet taking so long"

"Hey, not my fault I have a lazy cat who eats every second" He rolled his eyes dramatically

The small group laughing as the bus pulls to the bus stop.

"Well let's go we ain't got all day" Larry said.

"Where is ash and Todd? " Sal asked as he sat next to you.

"Ash rides her motorcycle here and well Todd usually gets there earlier than us"

"He's studying in the library like ususal" Larry said, sitting behind you both ruffling your hair.

The bus comes to a stop in front of Nockfell highschool and the small group was the last to get off.

As soon as you all stepped off the bus you could tell that sal was nervous.

"Don't worry sal, you'll be fine I promise"

"Yeah.. Thanks y/n" he gave them a small smile barely noticeable.

And with that you all stepped in the school together feeling better then ever

•Time Skip•

It had been a couple months since you all started second semester of Nockfell High.

Of course there were some ups and downs like detention and Travis the school ass hole.

But other than that it hasn't been to bad.

You and sal have gotten closer and built a great friend ship, Larry has actually tried to study from time to time and Ashley and Todd have just been the same old smarties.

It was music class the last period of the day only you and sal had that class as well as math and social studies.

You both sat in your seats next to each other in the back of the class already wanting the day to be over.

"Hey y/n have you noticed all the posters around the school recently?"

"Yeah, I actually have I never got a chance to actually read them though. What about you?"

"No actually I haven't they must be important though considering there in every hallway, you wouldn't think this school would have some type of important event going on."

You both let out a small chuckle as the music teacher walked into the classroom grabbing everyone's attention.

"Good afternoon class! So I'm guessing you all have seen the posters around the school and if you haven't well they are posters for the Prom Dance! " The teacher said with excitement in her tone.

Some people in the classroom weren't fazed about it while others where pretty excited.

"So as apart of this music class I will be picking a few of you to perform for prom"

As soon as she said that everyone's smiles dropped especially mine I was NOT a big fan of performing at all and as for sal I could tell he wasn't exactly excited either.

"So last week you all showed me your amazing music talents and I've already decided the two who will be performing for the prom dance"

As the class all held there breath she picked up her clipboard and was about to says the names of the two performers

"The two classmates who will be performing in this year's NockFell prom are Mr. Fisher and Mx. L/n you both are aloud to use any instrument you would like! "

I couldn't believe it.

Out of all the people it had to be me. Well I couldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else anyway.

•Sals POV•

"Mr.Fisher And Y/n L/n will be performing for the Nockfell High Prom"

I was shocked at what came out of the teachers mouth.

Me out of all people performing in front of everyone here.

But at least I could do it with y/n.I am definitely not prepared for this but I guess I have no choice.

I look over to y/n I could tell they weren't very pleased with the news but I couldn't blame them.

After class ended you and y/n walk out the classroom discussing how you guys were gonna pull this off and even begin.

You both could play instruments you playing guitar and y/n playing piano.

As you both sit in front of the exit discussing it you see your three friends walking down the hallway heading towards you.

"Hey guys, sorry were late Larry got us in trouble in gym ended up doing extra laps" Ash rolled her eyes dramatically

"Hey, it's not my fault the coach wouldn't let me use the bathroom"

"He could have at least left us out of it" Todd said face slightly red from running in the heat.

"What about you guys what happened in music" Larry said opening a candy bar.

"You won't even believe it. Sal and I got assigned to perform at prom. " Y/n said

"Yeah, I didn't even know this school even would have a prom and performing in front of people really isn't my thing"

"Damn, that sucks dude."

"I think you guys will do great! I've heard both of you play before and honestly it's amazing! "

"well thanks ash" Sal said tips of his ears turning pink

Y/n watched as the two talk feeling a pit in there Stomach.

It's been like this since ash and sal met and they still don't know why.

Was is jealous? No it couldn't be..

On the bright side you and sal would get to hang out a lot more.

This made you feel a little better. Now that you think about it you never heard sal play.

This would your first time hearing it.

You both were song partners something you didn't expect..
