                      •Chapter 26•

A whole year had passed and the gang had finally graduated high school.

As Lisa would say, they were growing so fast.

A couple weeks after they graduated, Ash got a invitation to go to the Art School she always wanted to attend to, and Todd Was finally moving in with Neil.

It was sad news but it wasn't the end, because they would all see each other again.

                       •Y/N's POV•

Ash, Neil, and Todd were leaving.

Yeah Ash and You had a rough start but it ended up getting better, and she still was your best friend.

"Were all going to really miss you Ash.." Larry said looking at the ground.

We were all standing outside helping ash put her things in the cab.

"Yeah, feels like only yesterday we were going ghost hunting together." Sal Said.

"I know you,I'm gonna miss you guys a lot, but it will only be a year then we'll all get to see each other again!" Ash started.

"We just have to think on the bright side." She finished.

"Yeah, your right.. " I said quietly.

"We'll that's the last of your bags" Todd said walking away from the trunk.

"Well.... I guess this is goodbye for now, yeah?" Larry said.

"For now, but don't say goodbye so soon I'll be back before you know it!" Ash said bringing all of us in for a group huge.

It was a warm hug, filled with mix emotions but it felt so quick and soon the cold seeped in.

And it was over..

"Well see you guys soon.." Ash said looking back at us one more time before getting in the cab.

Before we knew it she was off and they only thing we could do was wave.

"I'm gonna go finish unpacking with Neil I'll, see you guys tomorrow?" Todd asked.

"Yeah, cya" sal and Larry said.

As I was spacing out I felt a cold hand on my shoulder it was Sal's.

"It will be fine, I promise it." Sal said bringing me into a hug.

                    •3rd Person•

Sal always seemed to make y/n lighten up.

In the end, that cold hand will always feel warm to them.

"Wanna stay at my place tonight, my dad won't mind. Besides I know your moms never home and I don't want you to be alone.." Sal said.

"Sure thanks." Y/n said.

"If you don't mind me asking, does your mom.. Ever come home? " sal said softly while walking in the elevator.

"Rarely she says she's always on business trips, but I know it's not true.i don't see her as a good person." They started off.

"This may sound selfish, but.. in the end, i didn't need her to be a good person. i needed her to be my mother...." Y/n finished going silent.

Sal couldn't really say much, yeah his dad was kinda similar but..

He couldn't understand how y/n felt.
Having a mother who doesn't want to take care of their child.

"I'm sorry about that..but I'm sure your mom somewhere in her heart really does care for you.. Even if you can't see it" sal  said

"Yeah maybe your right." Y/n said giving a small smile.

Saying goodbye already? You just need to wait, I'm sure it will come around if you just stay.
