{AN: I'm back lol.}

Around 5am Junior headed down to his workshop after taking the necessary components from his father's, eager to modify his suit with better tech at his disposal. It was not out of the ordinary for Stark men to be up as early as the crack of dawn (that's if the billions of ideas that infested their brains had even allowed them to rest the night prior) so the boy genius wasn't concerned over any questions about his early morning lab venture being raised.

Peter decided to focus mainly on the aesthetics of the suit choosing his time consuming activity to be putting another Spider-Man related idea to life. He pulled out a crumpled piece of paper out of his back pocket and flattened it out on his workbench. The paper had a rough sketch of a small spider-shaped drone with labelled diagrams of its functions, necessary materials and other relevant information. It was just an idea Junior had been fiddling around with after feeling inspired by Sam's loving talk of his own robotic companion, red-wing.

As the teen hero worked away time flew by and before he knew it the familiar clicking of Pepper Potts Versace heels on the linoleum floors alerted him it was approaching time for school. Hastily, he threw a tarp over the suit before his mum walked in.
"Buongiorno amore (good morning sweetheart)," Pepper greeted her son as she walked in. Peter returned the greeting and Pepper continued, "what are you working on?" Her eyes scanned the surroundings in interest.
"Oh you know... just a robot," Peter feigned nonchalance.
"Just a robot?"
"I'm just playing around. Got bored I guess."
"Well you're gonna have to play around later; it's almost 8 and you're in luck - Wanda's in another cooking kick so you get french toast for breakfast."
"Ooh."
"Yeah, so get dressed and pack your bag. And remember to pack a bag tomorrow - you're going on that decathlon trip remember!"
Junior smiled awkwardly, "oh yeah," he had backed out of the competition quite last minute and had forgotten to tell his parents.

I guess Spider-Man is gonna be out super late.
Wasn't too inconvenient for the hero Junior supposed; he needed to catch the vulture and his crew anyway.

And with that thought he went to get changed into yet another science pun sweatshirt and dig into a heaping plate of french toast.
"Before you leave Mini Boss, Mr Stark created some coding for you to add to project S." FRIDAY spoke up.
"Project S?"
"You and your father discussed it yesterday," the AI hinted, wary of Pepper's presence.
Junior gave an 'oh' of realisation, "he made code for me? Great add it please Fri."
"As you wish, now installing..."

"What has your dad helped you on?" Pepper queried as they made it into the corridor.
"Oh just a project for robotics class," Junior mumbled and smiled to himself, he was sure whatever his dad had figured for his suit was an excellent addition.

Peter sat at the back of his shop class in a more discreet corner. Peter hit the weapon core casing with a hammer causing the core to emit purple light from metal casing it was partially freed from. He gave an 'oh' of interest and began to dismantle it, Ned joined him.
"Hey! Thanks for bailing on me," Ned told his best friend sarcastically.
"Yeah, well something came up," Peter responded still focused on the core that Ned then spotted.
"Ooh what's that?"
"I don't know but some guy tried to vaporize me with it."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah."
"Awesome."

With wide eyes, Peter turned to give his companion a pointed look at his absurd insensitivity.
Ned backtracked, "I mean, not awesome. Totally uncool of that guy. So scary."
Peter just gave him a look then continued working, "I think it's a power source."
"Yeah, but it's connected to all these microprocessors. That's an inductive charging plate. That's what I use to charge my toothbrush," Ned agreed and pointed at a complex-looking charging mechanism connected to various wires.
"Whoever's making these weapons is obviously combining alien tech with ours," Peter observed.
"That is literally the coolest sentence anyone has ever said." Ned gushed I just want to thank you for letting me be part of your journey into this amazing..."
