The distant sound of a familiar whirring crept into his ears and soon after a figure dived into the water at an admirably fast speed. Peter felt two strong metal arms pull him out of the lake effortlessly.

Why do I hear boss music?

"When you're as cool as I am kid, your theme song follows you everywhere," the sheer confidence radiating from the voice and the smirk they undoubtedly wore on their face seemed familiar to Junior.

Wait, did I say that out loud?

The man chuckled, "yeah you did kid, and that too."

Oh... who even is this guy?

"You know who I am."
Junior pried his eyes open and raised his slumped head to see a the strong metal arms that were carrying him belonged to a red and gold suit he, as well as the rest of the world had long since grown accustomed to.

DAD?! Oh flip, did I say that out loud again?

Junior paused his thoughts for a moment, he received no response from the hero who held him.

Oh good, in that case... WHAT THE HECK

After some deliberation, the teen decided to play it cool because what's a better way to deal with an issue than simply ignoring its existence?
"Huh? Oh, hey," he muttered, mind still foggy from his dip in the lake.

Smooth.

Peter's legs dangled from the jungle gym he sat on, Iron Man hovered in the air a few feet in front of him.
"And then he just, he just, like, swooped down like a monster and he picked me up and, uh, he took me up, like, a thousand feet and just dropped me," he explained hurriedly. "How'd you find me? Aren't you meant to be in India da- Mr Stark."

"How do you know about that?"

"I, uhh... saw it on the news."

"I see," the billionaire didn't seem too convinced, "well you'd be right; I'm not here," his helmet opens, revealing an empty space where Tony's face should have been, "thank God this place has Wi-Fi or you would be toast right now. Thank Ganesh while you're at it." Tony paused, pondering over something, "you sound incredibly familiar, have I saved you from drowning before," he asked the question genuinely despite the snark at the end, "still haven't gotten a 'thank you' for that," he added.

"Thank you, and um no, I don't recall meeting you," Peter replied making his voice deeper to a point where, unbeknownst to him of course, it was quite comedic.

"Sure kid, anyway more importantly, what were you thinking?" Tony's voice was etched with a strange amount of concern.
"What do you mean, the..." Junior trailed off, he couldn't call him the Bird-Man; then he'd seem stupid in front of the top tier hero that was his father, "...guy with the wings," he substituted, "the-the Vulture!" He had come up with a name. "Is obviously the source of the weapons. I gotta take him down."
"Not that, I mean what a guy like you going after that guy," Tony supplied.
" 'A guy like you', what's that supposed to mean," Peter snapped.
"Oh come on now, don't be offended. You're nickname's literally the 'friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man," iron man put emphasis on 'neighbourhood'. He scoffed, "take him down now, huh? Steady Crockett, there are people who handle this sort of thing."
"The Avengers?"
"No, no, no. This is a little below their pay grade."
The sound of a car engine revving filled Junior's ears, "are you driving?" He asked incredulously, he could hear a door closing.
