Hey guys this isn't a chapter but I have something really important to say.
If you haven't heard already Chadwick Boseman died of cancer today. While this news is very sad (it honestly doesn't feel real to me) we should take to to realise how admirable this man was. He battled with cancer for four years and attended chemotherapy and had countless surgeries in between filming movies such as Da 5 Bloods, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and many more. Throughout all his hardships he continued to persevere and his sheer resilience is something truly rare in the industry. In his life he achieved so much and portrayed so many powerful black characters and some real life people. Perhaps the highlight of his career was his role as Black Panther; the cultural significance this film has was spectacular - it struck worldwide and the character became a household name. It was a great film for all races and made many black people empowered to see incredibly intelligent, strong and powerful men and woman, who looked like us, on the big screen. It also gave representation to African culture something horrible underrepresented in Hollywood. It was good feeling to point out parts that were similar to my own culture when watching with my family.
I can't imagine what his family is going through now. I send my love and condolences to them, they'll be kept in my prayers.
