After a few days that went by, Kurapika, Leorio and Gon were all training hard to be able to open the Zoldyck's gate. Me on the other hand, I decided to continue my nen training. Not only did I want to be able to be more confident with my ability, but I wanted to master it, therefore I could conjure whatever weapon I wanted to, instead of hoping on dumb luck.

Zebro, the man who was the "janitor" at the front gate, helped us in many ways. He himself wasn't so familiar with nen, so he couldn't help me in my conditions, but he did try to help me with my confidence.

"So, y/n, what goes on in your mind when he puts a hand on your shoulder?" Zebro asked. I was blindfolded. The 3 behind me had one task, to put a hand on my shoulder without me jumping. I concealed my nen using Zetsu, not like they knew I used my nen anyways.

One of the three put their hand on my shoulder, and I jumped a little. "So?" Zebro asked me once again. I put my hand on the hand that was on my shoulder, removing it, "Sorry, Leorio, I don't want your hand there," I said firmly. "How could you tell it was me??" Leorio asked, looking dumbfounded. Zebro asked me the same question again, as I felt another hand on my shoulder.

I knew the feeling of this hand. It was a soft feeling flowing through my aura. I reached my hand to the unknown one, caressing it slowly. My face heated up, remembering the others in the room. "Kurapika.." I said, a smile slowly forming on my face. I felt arms around my waist, pulling me in closer. "Good job, love," he whispered into my ear.

"So, are we going to do any more training?" Gon said, ruining the moment. "The hell, Gon! You're not even supposed to be training, your arm is broken," Leorio spat. The two bickered between each other, while I snuggled into Kurapika's arms. His head rested on top of mine as I let out a small sigh.

"You have to teach me that invisibility trick," he said. "Maybe some other time.. when the time is right," I smiled. I turned around, going onto my tippy toes to give him a small kiss on his nose. Blush crept on his face. He put one hand on my cheek, leaning into a kiss.. We were centimeters away when the two idiots interrupted us.

"HEY! GET A ROOM," Leorio puffed out. Gon stood confused, "so, y/n and Kurapika are together?" My face went completely pale. Not from Gon's idiotic statement, but from the little people around us that felt like so many. Embarrassment in my mind as I released myself from Kurapika's grasp.

I sat on a table, and watched as the three struggled to put on their packs that Zebro said they should wear. I sighed, picking up the 20 tons without putting much effort. The others looked up at me as they noticed my strength.

'It's only nen, but they'll figure it out soon.'

...

Days had gone by, and we were prepared to open the testing gate. Leorio and Kurapika puffed, trying to pry open the door. "Let me try," I said, shooing them away as I prepared to push open the door. I used my Ten as I pushed the door. It began to open up slowly, until it fully opened. "NO WAYY," Gon said. I took a few steps inside, to get a good look on the indoor forest. I didn't see their guard dog, mike anywhere, so I felt a little safe.

I was going to go back to the others when the door slammed shut. "Damnit, I forgot that happens." I went to go sit down against the wall, right besides the door. I used this time to practice my own nen.

I sat up straight, concentrating on my own nen. 'I have to think of a weapon..' I said to myself. 'A small knife'. I visualized the knife I wanted to conjure. I was exhausting myself enough, but I didn't want to quit until I got it done.

I opened my eyes slowly, straining to see if I did it. I didn't see anything.. I stopped, breathing heavily as sweat came down my forehead. 'I have to try this again'. I thought about the knife I wanted again, but this time, I didn't close my eyes. I wanted to see if anything would appear for even the shortest amount of time.

I began to see a small knife forming, but not visible enough to grab. I tried my hardest, but no matter what, it wouldn't come to me. I exhausted myself, releasing my aura from it's forceful torture.

I began to get bored, waiting for the others that were struggling to open such a simple door. If only they had handles to open from the inside, I'd let them in. I saw a faint path. I followed it for about 5 minutes, until I saw a small black fence. There was an opening, but also a small girl there.

"This is private property, please leave," she said, looking me dead in the eyes. "No, I'm here with my friends to pick Killua up. We're also friends of his."

"Leave now."

"Bitch," I muttered under my breath, but she heard. It didn't take long before she came right in front of my face, hitting me across the face with the staff she had with her. It hurt, but not enough to make me pass out. I looked up at her with this look in my eyes. "Leave, now, I wouldn't want to kill you."

She pointed the sharp side of her staff towards me. I put my hands up in surrender, slowly walking backwards. I didn't want her to kill me, so if getting off this property would do it, I would do it. I turned around, bumping into someone's chest. Unaware of this person, I jumped back, bowing slightly.

"I'M SO SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO BUMP INTO YO-" I was cut off. "It's fine, y/n. It's just me," I look up to see Kurapika with Leorio and Gon. He saw the bruise on my face. He put his hand on my cheek, rubbing the spot with his thumb. I flinched.

"It hurts? What happened?" Kurapika asked, leaning in to kiss the bruise.
