Chapter 8 - A Slight Delay

Fin opened his eyes. He was still on the train, and they almost reach the Shan State. He prepares his luggage and got ready. Fin still didn't know where was the Shan State. So while his friends were trying to find him down at Mergui, He has gone further away from them.

"Man, I wonder if she's waiting for me there." Fin thought.

Loudspeaker - "Dear passengers, we are forced to stop the train here in Taunggyi of the Shan State. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused."

Fin - " *sighs* Well, I guess at least we are at the Shan State.

Fin exits the train and goes to the main road. "Woah, the city's big. I wonder if this is the capital of the Shan State." Fin thought. He wonders if Mergui is around this area. Fin then asked restaurants about Mergui.

"Hmm, they claim it's more South. I wonder how close am I to Mergui." Fin thought again. But Fin was exhausted, and got a room in a hostel for the night.

Then it was morning, The Six went down for some breakfast.

Hong - "Ooh! this is quite nice."

DZD - "I will not disagree with you."

JJ - "*Nom Nom*"

Dan - "We should bring Fin here when we bring him back."

Q - "Nah, Who knows what he might do. Eat the whole buffet?"

Marco - "I wish this place had burgers."

The Six continued chatting while eating their breakfasts. Then, DZD suddenly thought, "Wait, aren't we supposed to discuss about Fin?".

DZD - "Guys, we need to discuss about the possible locations that Fin might be in. We know Cindy said that he was going to Mergui, but there is a chance that he messed up somewhere, and ended up somewhere else."

Hong - "So, what are you saying?"

DZD - "I'm thinking, that we should wait here. Once he is in the correct path to Mergui, we can seize the opportunity to find him and bring him home."

Dan - "That's a relatively smart way to say, "I want to stay here for the food" lol."

Q, JJ, Hong & Marco - "Hahahaha."

DZD - "No, guys, I'm serious!"

Hong - "I should've recorded that, hahahaha."

Meanwhile, Fin is having his breakfast in a local coffee shop, nearly the same store from Naypytiaw. "Yeah, the coffee in Myanmar is great." Fin thought. Fin grew fond of the Burmese Curry. "Yeah! The curry is same as the one in Naypytiaw!". Fin begins to munch down on the curry.

Its generally sweet taste got to Fin, who thought that he wouldn't adapt to the food here. "Hmm, If i get married with Sinthira and lived here, It wouldn't be so bad after all." Fin thought.

The Six then finished breakfast and started exploring Hpa-an.

Marco - "Man, this burger shop reminds me of burger."

Hong - "Hey guys, look!"

Dan - "Holy shit! They sell anime merchandise here! Let's go check it out!"

The Six then went into the Hpa-an Mall. It was pretty packed.

JJ - "There! But it's..."

DZD - "Oh my god! There's a whole queue!"

Q - "A damn long one too."

DZD - "Let's just get out of here. We have more important stuff to do."

But the other five were dead set on going inside.

DZD - "Suit yourself. I'm heading out to check on the train station."

DZD then walks out and heads towards the train station.

DZD - "If the google maps aren't deceiving me... It should be right-"

DZD then looked at a big sign at the entrance.

Sign : The train will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

DZD - "What???"

Fin laughs with all his might.

Fin - "AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Strict Chinese Teacher - "Fin."

She gave him the death stare.

Fin - "Ah shit."
