Chapter 11 - The Fools

JJ - "Yes, you may return to Mergui. We will bring him home right after he wakes up."

Sinthira - "Thanks, JJ."

These words were exchanged outside Fin's room. The doctors finally gave a estimation on Fin's recovery. They estimated that he will be conscious again tomorrow.

The Six spend the next day waiting until they got the call. Then it happened.

Fin slowly opens his eyes and sees himself in a hospital room. He immediately panicked which alerted the doctor and nurses.

Fin - "Where am I?"

Doctor - "Hello? Are you okay? Any pain anywhere?"

Fin - "Please tell me, where am I?"

Doctor - "You are currently recovering at the Taunggyi General Hospital."

Fin then looked around. He didn't recognize anyone.

Fin - "Please discharge me, I want to meet my friend."

Doctor - "Alright, I'll give them a call."

Fin - "A call? I have to travel to Mergui to meet her."

Doctor - "Oh no, six of your friends are here."

Fin - "What?"

The doctor called in to inform them that Fin was conscious. The Six rushed into the hospital and visited Fin.

DZD - "None of you will speak about Sinthira."

The others nodded in agreement just so they could see Fin.

Nurse - "Fin, the visitors are here."

Fin looked at The Six. He was amazed at what he was seeing.

Fin - "Woah, since when you guys were here?"

Q - "We-"

DZD - "We just arrived yesterday after we heard you got into a fight. Unfortunately, your parents had heard about you and demanded a return."

JJ - "We only have 2 more days.."

Dan - "Fin, we can continue this after you recover."

The rest couldn't say anything. It was too risky to say anything. Fin sighs.

Fin - "Yeah, I should probably just go home. It was a pretty fun trip. I learned a lot of things here and felt a lot of emotions. Even though I didn't get to meet her, The fact that I tried was enough for me."

The Six were in silence. They didn't know what to do.

DZD - "Alright, we'll leave in two days."

The Six then left the room.

Hong - "Yo, i'm heading to the bathroom, you guys can go without me."

After the others left, Hong sneaks into Fin's room again.

Hong - "Hey Fin! Do you know that they are trying to force you out of the country?"

Fin - "Eh? Is that you Hong?"

Hong - "Yeah, and keep on going, Fin! I'm rooting for you."

Fin - "I've given up at this point, if my friends and family need me back, i'd gladly do so."

Hong - "This doesn't sound like you, Fin."

As Hong tries to convince Fin, DZD decided to stay back and check on Hong.

Hong - "Come on, Fin. She's waiting for you."

Fin - "She's waiting for me?"

Fin then remembers about Sinthira. All the laughs and pain that he has gone through since going on this trip.

Fin - "That's right! I'm doing this for her!"

Hong - "Go on!"

Fin runs out of the room. He passes through DZD in the hallway.

DZD - "Fin, wait!"

DZD then sees Hong coming out of Fin's room.

DZD - "Hong! You fool!"

Fin ran out of the hospital and there was Marco and Q, waiting with a taxi. Fin heads in.

Q - "We're off to Mergui!"

-Side Story-
*20 minutes later*
*Dan, JJ and DZD are in a coffee shop*

Dan - "How has this happened."

JJ - "We had one job."

DZD - "It's not over yet. I don't know where Hong went. Presumably to Mergui too."

Dan - "They're taking a taxi. They would take days to reach Mergui."

DZD - "Let's take off first thing in the morning."
