Qib's Taxi Trips, Part 4

Qib and the two assailants then reached Bangkok.

Qib - "When do you have to carry out the job?"

Buddy - "Tomorrow, at around 10 PM."

Qib - "Ah, alright."

Buddy - "Are we going to pay you now?"

Qib - "Uhm... Sure."

Qib calculates all of the expenses.

Qib - "Hmm.. Including the gas, times I almost died, and distance. This will be a little bit hefty."

Buddy - "Don't worry, we're ready to pay."

Qib - "Alright, then the total comes to-"

*bang*

A single bullet penetrated Qib's chest.

Qib - "Wha-"

Buddy - "I'm sorry, Qib."

"Ah... So that's what hitmen do. I completely forgot." Qib thought. Qib drops to the floor behind the car.

"..."

"..."

Qib - "Huh!"

Qib awoke to a hospital-like room.

Qib - "What's going on?"

Doctor - "Nothing to worry about. You're fine."

The doctor then left the room.

Then, another man came in.

??? - "Hello, Qib."

Qib - "Wh-who are you? Where am I?"

??? - "That's nothing to worry about. You're alive. That's what matters."

Qib - "Why does it matter"

??? - "Because we need you. To kill Buddy and Solo."

Qib - "I didn't catch your name."

??? - "Me? Oh, I have no name. Just call me "Boss"."

Qib - "Alright.."

Boss - "So, do you feel anger? Anything that makes your heart burn with passion?"

Qib - "..."

Boss - "I'll take that as a yes. That's why we need people like you."

Qib - "Alright."

Boss - "Huh?"

Qib - "I'll take them down."

Qib then heads to the parking lot where they last saw them.

Qib - "Where could've they gone? Think Qib, think."

Qib had a sniper and a revolver just like them.

Qib - "Whatever happens though... I will never betray my friends!"

Qib checks the time.

Qib - "9:30... They should be preparing for the job then."

Then Qib thought, "They must be at an abandoned building.".

Then on one certain building...

Qib - "Oh my god! There they are!"

Then Qib saw Buddy and Solo, preparing their snipers.

~ In the building ~

Solo - "..."

Buddy - "Yeah, he should be here soon."

Qib then finds a good spot and aims.

Qib - "Steady... Steady..."

*bang*

Buddy was gunned down.

Solo - "!!!"

Solo flees the scene.

Then, Qib informed about the successful killing of Buddy.

Boss - "Solo's headed for Osaka, Japan. Please continue your taxi services until we contact you again."

Qib - "Alright."

Qib then receives a phone call.

Q - "Hey Qib? It's me."
