Fin heads to the receptionist.
Fin - "Where is my stuff?"
The receptionist clearly did not understand a single thing that came out of his mouth. So Fin signaled "Come here." and he obliged. When they reached the room, the receptionist signed that he didn't know that happened and called the local authorities.
As a sorry gift, they let him stay for as long as he wants. It wasn't the most intriguing offer, considering that his stuff was robbed in broad daylight. But he took the offer anyway.
"So that solves my problems with sleeping." Fin thought.
Fin then checked his balance. He had around 750 thousand Kyat (711 BND). The only clothes he had left were the ones that he was wearing at the moment.
The Local Authorities then talked with Fin, who had a translator. "Thank god!" Fin thought. As you would expect, the conversation went a little awkward as usual. The translator being a girl made it even worse.
Fin - "*blushes* So.. Did you track the guy down?"
Translator- "Sir, we are not able to track them that fast..."
Fin - "Well... So.. I have a question..."
Translator - "Yes, Sir?"
Fin - " *closes eyes* Are you my keyboard?"
*Silence*
When Fin opened his eyes, he was greeted with... nothing. The police was gone, and so was the translator. "Meh, Sinthira was hotter anyway." Fin thought to himself.
After he settled down at his new, more "secure" room, he called it a night and went to bed. In the morning, he went venturing out again. And where would he go? To a Myanmar language program of course! 250 thousand Kyat. Well shit Fin, you've done it again. Not to mention that it was only for one lesson.
Fin entered the class. To his surprise, there were more locals than he expected. What was even more amazing was that they knew how to speak english! "Damn! This is gonna be fun!" Fin thought. While he was learning some Burmese, the two young kids he made friends with came and wanted to "help" him.
Fin - "So, how do i say "Where can i find this girl?" in Burmese?"
Kid 1 - "Oh, that's "ငါဘယ်မှာလုပ်နိုင်မှာလဲ-" (Where can I-)
Kid 2 - "No! I have a simpler way! It's "Lee Sok!"" (Suck my d*ck)
Fin - "Ah! Thank you very much my young friend!"
Fin finished his class in the afternoon and straightly went to his usual coffee shop.
Girl Waiter - "Ah, So you know how speak Burmese now?"
Fin - "Yeah, for example, Lee Sok!"
The next thing he knew, that he definitely beat his previous running record of 19 seconds. "How the f*ck is she so fast?" He thought while screaming "ကူညီပါ!" (Help me!).
Looks like the Burmese class paid off as one of the locals got her to calm down. "Why is she so angry?" Fin thought. Guess he will never know.
Fin returned to the hotel, feeling bummed out due to making no progress over 3 days. he was short in cash too, having around 500 thousand Kyat left (473 BND). Yep, he left Brunei with two THOUSAND BND by the way. He decided to sleep it off and get ready for tomorrow.
-Side Story-
