{Avengers POV}

"Tony!"

The billionaire heard his name being shouted from the lobby of the Avengers compound, but didn't dare respond. He knew a storm was coming, both figuratively and quite possibly literally. The elevator made a ding and Tony Stark heard the doors roll open, keeping his back to the sound. Immediately, a clamor of enraged stomps made its way to where he had been sitting on the couch.

"What is WRONG with you!?!?" Natasha Romanoff screamed, face matching her rich red hair. "She didn't do anything to you!!!"

"she DID Natasha, she DID!" The billionaire couldn't keep his lid on anymore, and knew he would regret it later, but could not care less.

"You told her to tell her father to EAT. GLASS." Natasha growled. With another ding, the elevator opened to even more angry voices.

"What the hell was that for?!?" Steve Rogers said, surprising everyone with his choice of words.

"Stark." Thor began, trying desperately to keep his voice steady. "You have some explaining to do."

"Yeah, you just cyberbullied your niece, what the heck?" Clint Barton's voice was the last one heard before Tony stood up and stormed out of the room.

That was it. Just like that, it was over as soon as it started. Eliza now sat, speechless. Ally returned from the kitchen, a defeated look on her face.

"Lets go out." She said, trudging back to the seating area. She took notice of her best friend's expression immediately. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing. Like I said, relative is giving me shit. Nothing serious." This was a lie of course, it was serious, but Eliza couldn't tell Ally the truth, it would all come crashing down on her. All her carefully crafted lies, hiding her true family ties, would be gone with the wind, and the last thing Eliza wanted was to involve her best friend in family issues. "I'm starving. Let's go get something to eat." she added, standing and shoving her phone as deep into her pocket as possible.

"Let me know if I need to beat anyone up. You know I wont hesitate." Ally said, walking out the apartment door. Eliza smiled, she truly had the best friend anyone could ask for.

---------

Eliza and Ally were seated at a high end restaurant in New York city. The place was dimly lit and the atmosphere was ambient.

Such ambience was broken when loud clamor of voices sounded at the restraunt's entrance. The doors opened, drawing everyone's attention to them. In walked the one person Eliza had hoped to never see, especially after today's events.

"Holy shit, that's Tony Stark!" Ally exclaimed, sitting up in the blue velvet chair. Eliza looked away from the billionaire and became immediately fascinated by her water glass. "That's iron man! In the same restaurant as us!" Ally continued her fangirling, talking so loud Eliza was surprised he didn't hear it. "My god, is he hot..." Ally mumbled as she stared at him.

Eliza watched as the man passed by their table. For a moment, their eyes met, the billionaire merely gave her a cool nod, and kept walking. Eliza remembered that there was no way he could have recognized her, there were no pictures of her available anywhere. She silently thanked her father for his withdrawal from the public.

"He freaking looked at you!" Ally squealed, voice so high, dogs could probably hear it. Tony went straight the restaurant's lavish bar and sat, nonchalantly, on the barstool.
