Loki and Eliza were wandering the small town their hotel was located in, with their bags from the mall. Eliza felt her phone buzz and pulled it out of her pocket.

"Look here, Loki." Eliza said. The god turned to her and she snapped a photo.

"No more blackmail!" Loki said, reaching for her phone.

"Its for the chat! Bruce flipped Clint off."

"fine, let me at least pose if you're sending it to everyone." the god made a suave face and smoothed his hair back. In his Tom form, he looked the exact opposite of himself. His hair was light and he had glasses, but he was still the same person underneath it all.

"No, you have to look surprised!" Eliza laughed.

"How about this?"

"you gotta start your collection of bad photos of me." Eliza told the god walking next to her.

"I don't think its possible to get a bad photo of you."

"Why? 'Cause I always look good?" Eliza joked, flipping her hair and making a snooty face.

"Well, yes but mostly because I hardly take any photos."

"Wait, what?" the woman asked, staring at Loki, confused. He glanced down to her.

"I just never think to take pictures, I prefer living in the moment." he said, looking back out ahead of them.

"No, I'm talking about the first part." Eliza said as they crossed the street. The sky was overcast, and it looked like a storm was coming.

"Oh, that? I'm simply stating the obvious." Loki said quickly. He became fascinated by a small shop with tons of string lights and faux vines inside it. The front window was so stuffed full of plants, it was impossible to see anything but the interior ceiling. "Lets go in here." he said, turning to Eliza.

"Did I just receive a compliment from a prince?" she sighed, putting her hand to her chest. "I'm so honored!" she said, pretending to swoon.

"You are honored, not many women have the chance to receive a compliment from the likes of me." Loki replied, opening the door for her. She walked in, past him and scoffed.

"Yeah, right." she drawled sarcastically.

The shop held an eclectic mix of items. Crystals, handmade goods, books, and novelty items filled the small area.

They left the shop each holding a stone the elderly woman had given to them.

"Today just got 10 times better. I got a free rock!" Eliza said, smiling at the smooth, black stone in her hand. "I hope it isn't cursed." she ran a thumb over a small indent in the side and examined it.

"Can I see yours? I want to try something." Loki asked. Eliza placed the stone in his hand and he pushed the two together. The stones made a click and seemed to be made for each other. The black of Eliza's stone now appeared to have some of the green from Loki's swirling around in it, and vice versa. "Strange..."

"You know what that means..." Eliza started, looking to the dark haired god. "Friendship necklaces!!" she announced, doing jazz hands. The woman laughed and shook her head. "I'm kidding."

A cold drop of rain hit Eliza on the top of her head. She looked to the sky and another hit her on her nose.

"Looks like its going to-" her words stopped when it started to pour. I was like someone had dumped a bucket of water over the town. "Shit!" Eliza shouted over the loud hiss of rain. The two ducked under the awning on the side of the shop they were just in. The young woman looked out at the blurred town. "I hope the others aren't getting this where they are." she commented, watching people run for cover.

"I have a feeling my brother is the reason the storm is here, not there." Loki said, looking to the woman next to him. "here." he handed the woman her stone and she smiled, then laughed.

"You have- here let me get it-" she reached forward and swiped a strand of brown hair off of the god's forehead. "It looked like a unibrow." she giggled, retracting her hand. Her eyes remained locked with the god of mischief's.

Eliza's heart began to race as she gazed into the green eyes of the god in front of her. The mans lithe hand went to Eliza's chin and brought her forward. Her heart nearly exploded when the god of mischief put his lips to hers. She was no longer cold from the rain, her face was hotter than anything and she felt as if she was floating. Once they pulled away, Eliza smiled.

"Tony's gonna kill us."

"Us? You mean me." Loki corrected. "Stark is going to mount my head in his lab." the god laughed.

"Then let's not tell them. I much prefer your head attached to your body, not the wall."
