"You guys go ahead, I'll be fine." Eliza urged, hopping off the hotel bed and waving away the girls.
"You sure, Eliza? Don't you wanna go to the amusement park?" Ally asked, picking up her bag and flipping it over her shoulder.
"Nah, I'm not feeling well, I'll only hold you guys back. Go." Eliza replied, looking to Nat and Ally.
Someone pounded in their door with urgency. Nat rolled her eyes and opened it, revealing the men, all donned in matching "Ghosts: busted" t shirts and shorts.
"Wow." Nat remarked. Ally snickered and Eliza kissed the back of her teeth.
"You look like a really weird family." she said, touching her tounge to her front teeth and looking the group over. Eliza looked confused, and gained an eye roll from her uncle.
"Prancer isn't coming. He doesn't like rollercoasters. Says they're 'cheaply made Midgardian death traps' " Tony informed the women.
"Oh noooo!!" Ally teased, turning to her friend.
"What? What's 'oh no'?" Tony asked.
"Eliza's hanging back today, says she doesn't feel good." Ally responded, smirking.
"It was the burger! It was undercooked!!" Eliza protested. Tony arched a brow and folded his hands over his chest.
"No Dr. Loki, or you're both dead." he warned. Eliza blinked, eyes wide.
"What the hell?" she squeaked. The men snickered amongst themselves at Tony's warning. Ally walked out and dragged Tony away by the shoulders. Nat gave Eliza a smile before shutting the hotel room door behind her.
---
The group had been gone for about 20 minutes when Eliza heard a soft knock on her door. She slipped out from under the covers, set down her book and walked to the door. Once she saw a familiar figure in the viewing hole, she opened the door, smiling."Hi!" she beamed at the dark haired man.
"Ally asked me to check on you, she said you were feeling unwell." Loki said, holding up his phone.
"Oh, I'm fine." Eliza told him, bringing him into the room and shutting the door. She turned around and put her back against the white wood door. "Honestly I just said that because I didn't want to go to the Amusement Park." she admitted, nodding her head to the side.
"Oh." the god of mischief said. "That's good. At least you aren't ill."
"Yeah..." Eliza thought for a moment, then her eyes lit up and she looked to the god. "You wanna go do something? I'm bored."
"Sure." Loki shrugged.
.....
The two were now wandering the town, looking for places that interested them. They walked into a large mall and explored the shops.
"Ooo!" Eliza exclaimed, grabbing Loki by the wrist. "lets go to Hot Topic. I think it will be right up your alley." she said.
"Up my what?" The god asked, eyes wide with confusion. He smiled at the idea of a mortal girl dragging a god around a shopping centre. This was a strange occurrence, but he was enjoying every moment.
"Its a metaphor. Means its something you'll like." Eliza explained, leading him to a shop that was playing loud, strange music. Stranger than Tony's, and that was really saying something.
The two walked in and Eliza showed Loki all kinds of things, mini figures, shirts, strange jewelry to put in even stranger places, various merchandise from popular shows and movies, this place had so many things. It intrigued the trickster, to say the least. He wandered around, examining the strange Midgardian items.
