Chapter 10- Collabs

What do I do? Do I tell her, what do I say?

"Nessa, don't worry! As I said before, I just went to see the pretty sunrise, it was amazing! It really helped relax me and my thoughts."

I'm really hoping that's good enough.

"Aaron, how was that?"
Aaron: I think you covered it up well, hopefully she'll believe you.

Nessa: But why were you blushing? Just watching a sunrise doesn't make you blush, yes sure, the atmosphere is nice but I know you Roni, you only blush when you quite like someone.

And then I notice another mistake... Aaron's hearing all of this.

Aaron: Roni... Roni, were you actually blushing, is she telling the truth about why as well?

Oh crap. Do I lie? What am I doing to myself? Do I ignore him?

"I think she just mistook the lighting or it might've been my phone. Also it isn't true, I do get red cheeks when I'm warm, and it's pretty warm down here."

I immediately block him from listening to the conversation.

Aaron: However, if what she's saying is true, that's very nice of you, and very sweet and cute.

"Well, I was blushing because, umm, if you really must know, I was talking to a guy on the phone this morning, a guy I've been talking to for a while. I've just kept it a secret for a very long time. But I'm not telling you who he is because I don't want him to know I told you and you're not good at keeping secrets."

Nessa: Wait really? A guy? Ooo. How exciting!! I hope I get to meet him soon. And fine, you don't have to tell me. But I hope I know him already. Can I not even know his name though?

"No because you'll end up working it out. But his name starts with a... (think Roni think)... J."

That was very random.

Nessa: Oh Okay, I'm still going to play detective, you know. Also, you do know we need to film today, the collab with Laurex?

"Oh yeah. I wonder what we're doing!"

A few hours later.

We ended up eating breakfast in the room where we slept, I didn't want to cause anymore awkwardness. Aaron and I agreed that we wouldn't meet in the kitchen or downstairs for breakfast as it would be awkward.

At this moment, we're all sat at a table, by all, I mean, Nessa and I and Lauren and Alex.

Alex: So what are you guys thinking of doing for your video?
Nessa: We can always do a challenge, or even a skit?
"Yeah, I wouldn't mind that. Can you guys act? Or would you guys rather do a challenge?"
Lauren: A skit sounds so fun, I haven't done many, if any skits at all. By Alex is a pro, like his old Rolanda and Richard videos.
"Wait, oh yeah, let's definitely do a skit then!"

We begin to get everything ready, we planned a whole script about 2 best friends trying to get two people to fall in love. It's cheesy for sure, but, the fans will love it. We know they all probably love Laurex, so this is perfect.

*During Rehearsing over the outline*

This skit is improvised, but we decide that rehearsal is always needed.
Alex: You know what, we could probably do with something. Wait here, I have an idea! It's goo, I promise.
He runs upstairs. We all look at each other, slightly confused, even Lauren is.

Alex: Okay, let me introduce you to my brother.
Oh gosh.
Now?!
In person.
Aaron: Hi, I'm Aaron.
He holds out his hand to my sister, who is standing slightly more forward.

I look up at him, our eyes meet, and then, well, we look away. I shake his hand, it's slightly awkward, but it's okay. Our experience wasn't the worst, it's just, we're reintroducing ourselves? And hopefully we're doing a good acting job.

Alex: *Teasing* It looks like someone has a crush. Maybe you guys should take our spaces...
We all laugh. But he's serious...
Alex: It's a good idea. I think it is.
Lauren: Yeah, it is!
Nessa: I fully agree. A couple and their siblings. An amazing idea!

I give Nessa a stare.

"Seriously?"
Nessa: Roni, it's acting. You're an actress, remember? Or do you have a crush?
"No Nessa, I don't. I just don't want to be shipped with anyone or well, I just don't really want to. He can join us filming, but, Lauren and Alex have to be the couple.

Alex: It was a joke! Don't worry, we'd never force you to do anything!

"That was close, Aaron."
Aaron: Sure was. Thanks for saving me as well. Not that I wouldn't want to act with you.
"It's fine Aaron. Honestly, I don't think they were joking before."
Aaron: They definitely weren't. I can tell when my brother is messing around, but he'd never force you to do anything.
"Good to know."

We decide to get food before we film as we're all hungry.
Nessa and I are sitting in the room alone.

Nessa: I saw how you looked at him Roni, I know that was not your first encounter.
"What do you mean?"
Nessa: You're hiding something, and I'm going to find out what.
"Nessa, I'm not hiding anything. Anyway, who are you talking about?"
Nessa: You know exactly who. Aaron.
"Nessa trust me. I had never met him before. I saw him yesterday when we were here, but yeah."
She stares at the wall, and then gives me a look that says, 'you're very suspicious'.
Nessa: Roni, what happened this morning?
I feel like I know what she's trying to get at. I can't let her get to me.
"What do you mean?"
Nessa: You know when you said you were going to the toilet.
"Nessa, I told you what happened!"
Nessa: Wait a second. This has something  to do with Aaron, doesn't it?"
"Oh please no."
