Chapter 6- There's still hope!

Roni's PoV:
So, I'm sitting, well lying here, talking to my "soulmate", who could potentially and is probably my twin sister's ex, who she is still upset over.
Aaron: Hi, you still there?
I don't really know if I should answer, but I can't stay away forever.
Roni: Yeah, I'm still here, just had a bit of a shock.
Aaron: I hope you're okay.
I can hear the kindness, but Roni stop it, you must not be fooled.
Roni: Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired. It's been a long day.
Aaron: Same here. I'm quite tired. But I love midnight talks.
Roni: Same here.
Aaron: You don't sound very enthusiastic.
Roni: I think I'm still trying to get a hang of this, I guess.
I can't believe I'm talking to this guy. I can't believe I'm not angry though, I'm not even really upset. I so wish I could be. Talking to him. I can't believe I'm doing this. And then it hits me. If he was Nessa's ex, he wouldn't be talking to me either, would he? Unless he's just trying to ignore that fact. Well, I guess we ask.
Roni: Hey, I have a question...
Aaron: Go ahead. I'll answer.
Roni: Do you know anyone named Nessa or Vanessa?
I hold my breath. I really hope not. I don't want to be dealing with my sister's ex. I don't want to upset her.
Aaron: Nessa? Which I'm going to guess is short for Vanessa?
At that point, my stomach sank.
Roni: Ye-yes.
Aaron: I don't think so. I'm not friends with any Nessas as far as I know. I've never been friends with any Nessas.
I sigh.
Roni: Have you been with any Nessas?
Aaron: Not that I recall. Maybe I had something in Kindergarten, I don't remember.
I sigh again. Phew, there is still hope.
Aaron: Why did you sound so scared?
He says laughing slightly. I still find it weird that you can laugh in your head, let alone use emotion. This is so weird.
Roni: It's just that... errm, nevermind.
I don't know whether to tell him or not. Eventually we'll meet, I'll tell him anyway, but it's weird. He's called Aaron. Let's save meeting until after Nessa is happy again.
Aaron: You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but I promise, you can trust me!
Roni: It's just that... it's just that, my sister, my twin, her recent ex was called, had the same name.... well, you know, and she's still trying to forget everything. It's hitting her hard. Aaron: I'm so sorry, you don't have to tell her about this if you don't want, I know we're meant to meet, well that's what I've heard, but we can wait until she's feeling better?
Roni: Thanks Aaron... it sounds so weird to be saying that. Well, in my head. I guess since we are "soulmates" we're meant to meet at some point. I only know that we're supposedly soulmates. He can probably hear the sarcasm in soulmates, I just think it's such a weird thing that we're so connected. I've never heard anyone that can hear another person.
Aaron: I know it's silly. I got that information too! That's weird, a coincidence, I guess we've both had crazy nights.
I can hear his laughter and heard him mocking me. I guess it is a coincidence, but surely it was only that. Roni: So Aaron, I wanna know, some more information if we're soulmates, I need to know everything about you... unless you want to keep it a surprise? Aaron: Well, I guess I could tell you some stuff about me. As you know, I'm Aaron, I'm 29, I was born in the Philippines, but moved to North Carolina with my family. I'm a youtuber, and yeah.
Roni: I guess we have some things in common. I'm 21, I'm from Kansas City, Missouri, but I do have some Filipino blood in me. I am also a youtuber, I guess we could collab in the future! Aaron: That's super cool and I'd be down, that is once I've gotten to know you properly and in real life. Imagine a collab with your soulmate. Well, Roni, I have a question for you... what have you been doing today?
Roni: Well, it's been quite busy. We did some YouTube stuff earlier, and then we relaxed. We wanted to collaborate with a certain YouTuber, so we asked, and he invited us and a bunch of other people, to a carnival!
Aaron: Was it a guy called Alex who invited you?
Roni: Alex Wassabi? Yeah! We're friends with him. You know him?
Aaron: Yeah, he's my... brother. My name's Aaron Burriss, his last name is actually Burriss.
Wow... wait, that's weird. I've seen Aaron, I saw him earlier. I think he's actually in this house. Imagine, imagine we meet. Tomorrow. It's probably going to happen.
Roni: Wow... I didn't know that you are Aaron. I saw you earlier, I didn't really know your name, I just knew you were his brother. What are you doing now?
Aaron: If you're thinking about meeting up, it is slightly late. But I'm just sitting, well lying on my bed. How about you?
Roni: I'm lying on a few blankets right now. I was watching a film with my sister, Alex and... Lauren.
Aaron: You're in my house!
At this point I can't tell if he's happy or shocked. I just can't tell.
