Chapter 12- After shoot

Aaron's PoV:
(AN//: I decided that it would be good to have an Aaron chapter... enjoy!:) )

Filming was so fun, I really wish we could've done a video for my channel. But other than that, I can only think about one thing. I don't necessarily want to think about it, but it's definitely not a bad memory, I just don't want to think about it because I feel like I'm going red, or I'm smiling like a fool. But luckily, here, I'm alone. Other then Guppy.

"Guppy! Come here!" The sound of tapping paws gets louder, and Guppy comes to my feet. I pick him up and put him on my lap.
"Oh Guppy. What do I do?" I do wish I could ask my brain mate, but she's the one who's caused all of this. I really need to ask her about this. But Guppy will have to do for now.

"Guppy, what do I do? You should've been there. Well, actually no. But if you were there, you'd know why I'm confused about what to do."
I look at him, and he looks at me.
"Do I ask her about it? Do I ask Roni?"
Guppy barks, and his tail wags.

Is- is this some sort of sign?
I kind of giggle.
Is this some sort of joke?
Now this is really convincing me to ask her.

I look back at Guppy.
"Are you sure? Are you sure this is the right thing to do?"
He continues to wag his tail.
"Okay fine..."
I roll my eyes jokingly.

Although I could just pretend to communicate with her, something is telling me to communicate. To ask her.

"Roni?"
"Hello?"
She answers quite quickly.
Roni: Hi. You okay?
I pretend to not notice the slight awkwardness in her voice. I can tell she has the same thing on her mind. And I know she can hear mine.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just sat in my room with my pug. Are you busy?"
Roni: No, I'm not busy. I'm also sat in my room, but with my dog, he's called Tiger.
"Oh, my pug's called Guppy!"
I know that I can't stall forever.
"Roni, can I ask you something? Well can we talk- can we- can I- we talk about something?"
Roni: Y-yeah sure...
I could hear the uncertainty in her voice, she knows what's coming.
"I feel like you know what I'm going to say. It's about..."
Roni: About...
"About the... dance."
Roni: Oh, yeah. I really enjoyed filming that video. You're a good actor.
"It's not that, it was during the dance. When we were dancing."
Roni: And, we- yeah.
The awkwardness is barely bearable.

"Okay, let's get this over and done with. We had some sort of moment. Our eyes met. I'm not sure if you felt what I felt, but what does that mean for us? I want to discuss it because I'd rather not feel extremely awkward and I'd like to still know where we are with this whole soulmate thing."
I say all this, speedtalking. It all comes out. I go red.

And at this point, there's a knock at the door.

"Sorry Roni, one second, someone's coming into my room."
Roni: Okay.
I can tell that she doesn't always believe me. So I open my mind.

"Come in!"

It's Alex.

"Hi Alex, what's up?"
Alex: Nothing really, just wanted to ask you something.

I could feel Roni listening in very carefully. I had to be careful with the conversation coming up.

Alex: How did you find the collab? Would you collab with the twins again?
"Definitely! I loved it! We had such a blast, I don't think there was a dull moment. Everyone was so happy!"
Alex: I noticed you were happier then normal as well. I hope we collab with them again. They're really cool people!

There's a pause. I'm not sure whether Roni should listen in so I close my mind.

"Sorry Roni, I think Alex is gonna say something or ask something a lot more personal, I have a feeling. We can talk afterwards if you'd like."
Roni: Okay! Yep, sounds good. I trust you. Talk to you afterwards!

And with that, it was just Alex and I.

"Alex, what do you really want to ask? You're not very good at hiding curiosity."
Alex: Okay, fine fine, you got me. I wanted to ask about Roni.
"Yeah... what about her?"
Alex: Are you twooo...
"No Alex. No."

Although his assumptions weren't completely incorrect, Roni and I both said we'd keep it under wraps, y'know this whole soulmate thing.

Alex: Well then, what was that at the ball?
"What was what?"

I know exactly what he's talking about. He also knows what he saw.

Alex: When you two looked into each other's eyes like some couple in a romance.
"I did not think it was that romantic... besides, it was nothing."
Alex: If you say so... but I definitely saw something...
"Of course you did."
Alex: Actually, I'm not stopping this convo here, there was definitely something.

I don't really have no choice. He'll end up doing what every little brother does. He'll end up annoying me until I tell him, but I can't blame him.

"Okay, fine fine. Our eyes met, we had some sort of a moment. But I think it might have been her acting. The twins are actresses. And anyway, it was just us looking at each other's eyes."
Alex: That was definitely something. And it was definitely not acting. Even Lauren and I can't make a moment that convincing.

I sigh to let him know that Im done with this conversation.

Alex: Okay, last question then. Do you have a crush on her? And her being Veronica Merrell, AARON.
"I'm not going to answer that. I'm not sure."
Alex: Just pick an answer.

At this point, Roni's voice enters my head.

Roni: Aaron, can we meet outside? Are you able to meet right now?

AN//: And that's this chapter! Sorry for the long wait. I'm just better at writing at night, when I'm half asleep, and also I have been very busy! But yeah. Hopefully we may have a schedule soon! But have a great day people! See you next time!
