Liam and I went back to my room and on the way he kept making sure I was ok, asking me if I needed anything. All I wanted was to have him by my side, so he sat down on the couch with me and pulled me into a hug.

"Never in my life had I wanted to give up so much for someone to be ok." Liam says, stroking a hand softly through my hair and kissing my forehead, "I was ready to die for you L."

"Liam, you're going to make me cry if you keep being so nice." I say, feeling overly emotional now, "I wouldn't let you die over me."

"I wouldn't let you die over me. You need to be safe. It worried me that that psycho was going firing shots around when I wasn't there. My biggest fear was that he was going to hurt you before I got to you."

A wave of guilt fell over me as I remembered what I had said to Raydon earlier.

"I told him to." I admit and Liam's face immediately hardens. He wasn't happy about that.

"You what? Lottie why would you do that?"

"To save you. He started saying he wanted to kill you and I wasn't going to let that happen." I explain softly and he grumbles at me.

"No. Never do that again." He states, certain of himself, "You shouldn't risk your life for me, you're the royal one."

"I don't care if I'm royal or if I'm not. You're more important to me."

Liam nuzzles into my neck, his nose tickling my skin.
He sighs contently as his arms curl around my waist and he pulls me closer to him. He places a few kisses on my neck, just softly, being very delicate.

My hands wander from around his neck to his chest where they rest on his shirt. I can't see much of his head because he's hiding his face in my neck still.

I decide on planting a kiss on the top of his blonde mop of hair. He kisses my neck again when I do that.

Reaching my hand up, I run my hand through his hair, letting my nails reach his scalp in a gentle massage.

Liam bites my neck when I do that.

"You like that?" I ask, smiling as I continue running my hands through his hair.

He says something into my neck but I can't hear because his voice is muffled, so I stop and wait for him to repeat it.

Liam lifts his head up, a lazy, content look in his eyes until he frowns.

"Why did you stop?" He pouts.

"Because I didn't hear what you said."

He pecks my nose gently, "I said yes."

I furrow my brow, "You said something else too. What was it?"

"That it felt like heaven." He repeats, "And I said that because it does. Your touch drives me insane."

I grin, "So does yours."

Liam pauses as if thinking hard about something, then he smiles.

"So, can I confirm that I'm the only one left? There's no more selection loopholes or other guys I need to fight off to win you?"

"No one else. Just you." I confirm for him.

"Finally." He says, relieved, "Can I kiss you now?"

I laugh, "You don't need to ask."

Liam threads his fingers into my hair and pulls me in towards him. Our lips meet and everything seems to fall into place.

As much as I had liked some of the others, Liam was the one I had fallen for. Being with him just felt right.
