Silver

Silver was being dragged somewhere. He didn't know where, but it probably wasn't good.

The guards pulled him into a bright white metal room and threw him into a glass chamber. The left and closed the door behind them.

"Uh... what's going on?" Silver asked.

"We're testing you." A voice said.

Silver looked around and spotted a small vent where the voice had come from.

"Testing me?" He asked.

"Yes. Our test is to see how long a dragon can last before losing sanity."

Silver sighed and looked at himself in the mirror. "Yeah, I dunno Ms. whoever you are, but I kinda don't remember anything so can you explain a bit more. Like, do I know you?"

A silence fell from the vent.

"You have amnesia?" She finally asked.

Silver nodded, not sure if she could see him or not. "If that's the memory loss thing, then yeah."

"Hmm, well, we'll try this out anyway."

And then something stung him and his ears felt like they were burning.

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"

Silver's eyes opened.

In front of him was darkness. All that was visible was a dragon, as white as a cloud hiding the sun.

"No need to fear. We've met before." The voice said calmly.

"Who are you?" Silver asked although he couldn't feel his mouth move.

The white shadow walked around him, the mysterious dragon looked similar to himself but had spikes along their back where his smaller curved spines would be. "I guess we've never met but you can call me "The Channeler"."

Silver huffed. "Alright, well, what do you need?"

"Information. Where are you?"The Channeler asked.

"I don't know. I've been stuck in a cave for the past weeks and now they just moved me to some experiment room." Silver said.

"Interesting. Have you been able to see anything outside of where you are?" The Channeler asked.

Silver shook his head then stopped. "Yeah, actually. There's a small window in the cave I stay in. Outside are these weird ruins, they sorta look like old buildings."

"Thank you. This helps a lot. Is there anything else I should know?"

Silver thought for a second. "There's a Sandwing here named Pronghorn who's starting a revolution. Does that help?"

The white dragon clasped her talons. "It most certainly does! Thanks so much, I'll check back with you when I can."

"What do you-" He started. The black background fell away and he was now staring at his reflection. Silver slowly stood up, dazed.

"You're awake. How do you feel?" The voice in the vent asked.

Silver blinked. "Uh... tired. Can I go back now?"

"Very well, we're done with you for now."

Two guards came in and dragged him forward.

"Hey, hey!" Silver said. "No need to be aggressive, I'm complying y'know."

One of the guards scoffed. "Whatever, just shut up and we might give you your rations."

Silver smirked. "Can I get that with some salt? It really brings the flavor out."
