Oleander's end.

Fennec and Stingray met at a cliff.

"Stingray, you wanted to meet me here?" Fennec asked.

Stingray kicked a rock. "Yeah. I just wanted to say... I don't want to fight over Oleander's affection. She's yours to date."

"Are you sure?" Fennec asked. "You're my friend, Stingray, and I don't want this to be a big deal."

Stingray looked back at him, smiling. "I know. But Oleander loves you. Besides, a relationship between two princesses wouldn't work."

Fennec sighed. "If that's what you want."

Stingray turned around. "Hey, look on the bright side, though. I'll still see you two." She flashed a grin. "'Sides, more girls for me, right?"

Shocked, Fennec burst into laughter. "Of course!"

"Just think!" Stingray laughed with him. "Tomboys and divas, no one's safe!"

And with a goodbye, they left.

Fennec landed on the small island that Comet lived on. A small party was held there, the people who joined him on their mission had been invited.

"Hey, Fen." Oleander greeted when he approached, a nickname she picked up when they had visited the Mud Kingdom once.

"Ah, hey Ander." Fennec approached her outside the house. He waved to Fox as she slipped into the house, leaving them alone.

Noise of the commotion inside echoed in the night, friends catching up on all that's happened, drinking and chomping down on a feast.

"I, um, I wanted to talk to you." Fennec said, not entirely sure how to start.

Oleander blinked, looking up into his eyes. "Sure, what is it?"

"I-" He hesitated, then found himself spilling out. "I want to go out with you."

A moment passed, the only noise he could hear was her breathing.

"You mean... like on a date?" She asked slowly.

"Yes." Fennec said through the lump in his throat.

Oleander smiled. "Wow... okay, of course I will!"

"You will? Really?" Fennec stepped forward, finding himself smiling as well.

"Yes." Oleander gave a nod. "I'm glad you finally asked me."

And without another word, he wrapped his wings around her, the hug being returned instantly. And on the roof above, a young Seawing smiled as she gazed at the moon.

Silver's end.

As a party raged inside, Silver watched the stars on the grass of the small island.

"You okay, brother?" Firefly asked. Peacemaker walked behind her, his tail swinging behind him.

"Yeah. What are you two doing out here?" Silver turned around to face them.

Peacemaker sat down, a good thing since he looked ready to pass out. "Worried about you." He mumbled.

"He's not used to drinking." Firefly explained. "But he's right. We were worried about you. After all that happened, we figured you'd be more upset."

Silver attempted a smile. "Hey, I'm fine. Losing a limb won't stop me. I have done something else, though."

"What's that?" Firefly asked, leaning toward Peacemaker as his head fell against her shoulder.

Silver opened his palm, a glowing white gem in his talon. "This contains all animus magic I possess."

"So, you can't use animus magic anymore?" Firefly asked.

"Not unless I'm holding this gem." Silver said.

"Humnunum..." Peacemaker mumbled. "Firefly... can we go home?"

Firefly gave Silver an apologetic look. "Is this what you want?"

Silver gave her a hesitant nod. "Yes. I'm done with this." He smiled. "We should probably head back, I'll get Gold."

Peacemaker laughed, a blush on his face. "That's funny... Gold and Silver..."

Firefly patted his talon with her own. "Alright, let's get you home."

Fennec's end.

Ostrich had been one of the nicest people to Fennec during his time in the castle. It was a shock to realize she was married.

Of course, he had known Pronghorn lived in the castle, but he had never known they had married. The black-speckled Sandwing had met with her when they had arrived back, a happy reunion, Fennec had thought.

He had no idea those two were his parents.

"The DNA test is conclusive." One of the doctors said. "Lieutenant Pronghorn is your father."

Fennec stared into space, the words not quite registering. He'd been wondering where his parents were this whole time, and right under his nose, they've seen him nearly every day, not knowing.

Everything suddenly came back into focus as two set of wings enveloped him.

"Mother... father..." He whispered, slowly hugging them.

Meanwhile, under the ground.

Qibli and Viper stood in front of Rattlesnake's cell.

Rattlesnake, Viper's mother and former ruler of the scorpion den, had been found with Haddock's army in the old Nightwing Kingdom as an assassin.

"I thought you were a victim, just like me." Viper said, her voice hardly a whisper.

"Don't feel too bad, Viper, mothers in our family tend to be manipulative." Qibli comforted her.

"I CAN HEAR YOU!" Cobra, Rattlesnake and Qibli's mother shouted from down the prison.

Bars above them lit the halls, only able to close during storms. Cobra's face was barely visible from where they were today as dim light reflected off the metal.

"Shut up, you!" Rattlesnake shouted back.

Qibli sighed. "I don't know what I'm going to do about you, sister. You're following down our mother's path-"

"You shut up as well!" Rattlesnake yelled at him. "You should be grateful I didn't kill you when we were kids! If it weren't for this stupid stronghold, I'd have murdered you and that stupid Nightwing already!"

Viper shook her head. "Mother, the only options left from here are rehabilitation, or execution."

Rattlesnake stopped, then slunk back into her cell and curled into a ball. After Prickle, a Sandwing mistaken for Palm, had underwent rehabilitation, she had left, so now only Cobra and Rattlesnake remained.

Viper sighed and began toward the exit, but Qibli paused before following her.

"Our time in the spotlight is over, Rattlesnake. It's time for the next generation to take the show." He said.

Rattlesnake snickered. "You always say stuff like that, Qibli, do you mean it? You really don't want anymore to do with it?"

"No." Qibli smiled. "And Rattlesnake... I forgive you..."

A moment of silence, and then... "Thank you."
