Loki's forbidden love

Love really is blind

Me and Loki had been making preparations for 24 hours. These kind of operations usually take months but Thor would return soon, we needed to act fast.

It was late at night when I started thinking of Bucky. I felt so bad for betraying him. Even though I love Loki, that part of me that likes Bucky is still there. I just hoped he's doing ok.

And Thor, as much as I tell myself this is a good idea,  I can't help but think, what's going to happen to Thor?

After long hours of thinking, I decided to talk to Loki about what his original plan was; before I went with the avengers.

"Loki?" We were cuddled in bed, me facing his chest and wrapped in his arms with my legs around him.

"Yes darling" he whispered drowsily and pulled away a bit to look at me. 

"I've been thinking-"

"I know" he interrupted.

"Oh yeh the mind reading thing. I forgot about that. So I guess you already know what I'm about to ask."

"Yes , I know you have doubts but I'll tell you my plan. My original plan was to take the sand, that way my brother would -hopefully- leave you behind and come fight me. I would defeat him, and travel back to Asgard for you. You see there are two ways I could've ruled. The sand is very valuable, if I had given it to someone of authority, I would earn my place slower and slower and then take over as leader. But the only problem with that is it would take longer and at that point I assumed you would've left . Obviously the other way would be to just unleash this thing and have it tear everything apart. Then I would rebuild everything and rule ."

It took a minute for me to process that. Then I spoke up. "But Loki- I don't want to hurt Thor, we can't just take it from him and destroy his childhood ; our childhood." He knew I thought this but I felt as though I had to say it out loud .

"Loki I love you, and now I have you I want it to stay this way but promise me we will be careful about this."

"Of course darling" he kissed me on the forehead "I love you"

And we both drifted off to sleep , dreaming of Asgard and our amazing life we will have there together.

The next morning, I stretched my arm out to feel for Loki. I opened my eyes after not being able to feel him. "Loki?" I whispered drowsily , looking around. I couldn't see him anywhere so I got up and stumbled to the tiny apartment kitchen.

I walked out of my room and could smell food .

"Aw Loki? Are you making breakfast"

He turned around and gave me his adorable little smile . "Of course darling. Your with me now, I'm going to take care of you"

I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him. "I'm making peanut butter pancakes" he whispered down at me, trying to cook at the same time.

I shoved the pan off the stove and turned off the heat. "What are you-" I silenced him with a kiss.

He picked me up and sat me on the counter top, our lips only parting to take breaths . "Ow" I banged my head on the cupboard "ugh stupid tiny kitchen" we laughed as I jumped off the counter top and started to walk towards my room.

"Where are you going?" He asked as I grabbed his hand and tugged him.

"Wouldn't this-" I gestured towards the bedroom "be a better place for-" I kissed him again passionately, "that?"

We were lying in bed, me on his chest, him playing with my hair.

"Are you ok Leia?" Loki whispered into my hair. "I know this was the first time for you , I just want to make sure I didn't hurt you."

"No Loki. It was perfect."

I kissed up from his chest, over his neck and jawline and then lightly  on the lips. "But now I really am hungry " I laughed. He laughed too and then picked me up and took me into the shower with him.

After we showered I changed into my clothes and we ate breakfast. We spent the rest of the morning as normal, and then Loki took us out into a field , where we got beamed up to Asgard.
